I've been trying to get reservations to the Spirit of Aloha show at the Polynesian for weeks now to no avail. Does anyone know if on the day of show there is a better chance of getting tickets; I need 6??? I've been calling everyday and nothing has opened up
Several friends told me to look at the Makahiki Luau at SeaWorld. I thought I'd let some of you in on an interesting detail that I found out about the Makihiki Luau.
They offer a 10% AAA rate that they will give you over the phone and you can enter the park (without an admission ticket) an hour earlier than the show. For me, the show begins at 5:30, so I can enter at 4:30. The show lasts roughly 1 hr. 45 mins, so by 7:30 we'll be done and the park remains open for 2-1/2 hours after that. I asked the reservationist if I was allowed to tour the park and participate in the shows and her response was "Absolutely". The show doesn't require admission tickets, so I think this is an awesome deal. Obviously it's not much time, but maybe we can at least catch "Shamu"; not literally
I still want to do Spirit of Aloha to compare as we've got little ones that have been to Hawaii and will love both.
