I have booked this dinner and was wondering if I should keep it? My main concern is the seating is outside and I'm afraid it may be too cold to enjoy our meal. I'm from Michigan and used to the cold. but the weather in orlando has not been that great. I 'm afraid to keep my ADR as its on my last day and was told they (disney can cancel if it rains). I don't want to be left without a ADR for that night. Ant input?

Hey fellow Michigander! If you can stand this cold then Aloha will be easy!

DH & I went last year (during 30 degree, windy freeze!) and we were suprised at how warm we were. We were right down front & every once in awhile there was a breeze but we just dressed apporopriately. The fire during the show helped keep us a little warmer. haha

We really enjoyed this show & were glad that we put on layers and kept that ADR.

We are hoping for a little warmer weather during our January trip. Have a wonderful trip!

I don't know what the weather will be like in January (I wish I did because I'll be in WDW then too!), but I know they cancelled a few shows in the past week due to low temperatures. Apparently Florida got hit with the cold snap too.:cold:

We were there last year in early February and we were supposed to eat there one night and they cancelled a few nights shows because of the cold. Hopefully we will make it their one year.

If you keep your reservations and they cancel the show maybe you can get something for Kona. Try calling early in the morning. We were just down in October and called one day in the early afternoon and were able to get reservations at Kona for that evening.

It will be risky, like another PP had mentioned, they have already cancelled a couple of shows this week due to the weather being so cold. However, there may be a warm spell the week you are there and the shows will go on....you just never know with Florida weather and the wintertime. If it was me, I would skip it because I am not a risk taker and try going at a time when you will be there during the warmer months, that is if you will be there for warmer months in the future. Good luck with whatever you decide.

We went the last week of January last year and we were chilly. Luckily we had brought a blanket so could cover up DD when she fell asleep in DH arms. We loved it so much we booked for this January the first week. If it gets cancelled because it's too cold it would be a bummer. But we will dress a lot warmer this time. We were the table seated closest to the left "wall". So maybe it would have been warmer in the centre. We are paying OOP this time so we are hoping for better seats.
