Spirit Air

Has anyone ever taken the flight from Spirit from Buffalo leaving at 2:30 am arriving at MCO at 8:40 or so? The price is crazy cheap but to be up all night and no room ready when we get there....

It is still cheaper with the added price for one checked bag!! But maybe not by that much..

A red eye flight on Spirit sounds like a nightmare.

ouch that sounds like a bad layover somewhere, and it would have to be crazy good(almost free) to take. But to get to another point, you will get to your resort approx 10:30-11am, it might be ready. Or hit DD for lunch(dinner if up all night, hehe) and then to pool and room should be ready. You can leave your bags at resort if room is not ready (I assume your staying onsite) I would not plan a park day if up that early for flight, IMHO. Get an early bed and start RD at your favorite park next day.

And Spirit is not a very "good" airline. I would suggest like Southwest or Jetblue

Yes, I would not get any sleep with a flight like that and with our room not being ready upon an early arrival time, I would be cranky!

I just looked that up....you have a 3 hour layover in Ft Lauderdale. Not fun.

Ya, in the middle of the night. So basically I would go all night without sleep until late the next day. Not doing it!
