Spirit Air Cancellation

I am about to schedule a flight on Spirit Airlines in January. I've never flown Spirit but due to the costs of other flights I'm pretty much stuckj with them. Their cancellation policies are less than clear and I was wondering if someone with experience can help clarify. Their website states that there is a $115 cancellation fee.

i have several questions. Is the refund minus the fee in cash or credit? Are the bag and seat fees reundable as well? Is the $115 fee for each leg of the trip or for the round trip ticket.

I usually fly southwest so I am a little unfamiliar with this type of disclosure (or non-disclosure as it may be.) Its interesting how a $99 airfare ends up costing $350- 400 when all is said and done.

The cancellation fee, if done online, is $115.00 per booking, so that is the fee per one RT ticket. It appears that any money left after that fee goes to a future travel credit, not a refund. Spirit only sells non-refundable tickets, per their COC. Their COC also states baggage fees are non-refundable.
