Spirit Air Anyone?

Has anyone flown on Spirit Air? They have $69 each way for LGA to MCO for September. I am a bad flyer (kinda terrified) so, I usually stick with what I know - LOL - but, the price is so good I think I might have to move out of my confort zone.

Anyone used Spirit?

I've flown w/Spirit from Atlantic City and had a wonderful experience. The staff was much more friendly than when we've flown on USAir from Philly. I had no problems whatsoever. The planes took off on time and the luggage was out shortly after we landed. It could have also been that the AC airport is so much smaller, but for all our trips to FL, I'll be using Spirit out of AC!!

A friend usually flies on Spirit, out of AC, and has never had any problems. We will be using them, for the first time, for our upcoming fall trip...I couldn't pass up the $149 airfare!. Go ahead...take the plunge! Good luck!

I have flown Spirit out of Atlantic City to Fla on a few occasions and have no complaints . Its definetely no-frills , so don't expect more than a bag of peanuts and a coke . One thing you want to watch out for is that they change thier flight times often , so you will want to check thier site from time to time and make sure you dont end up late getting to the airport . As a matter of fact , Spirit called me this morning and told me that they were moving my flight up 1 hour for my flight in March . Because of this , they are allowing me to change my flights to anything within 30 days of my travel dates without penalty . ( This is good for me , as I'm thinking about changing my vacation dates to around Easter when the kids are off from school.) Hope this helps

Lots of families at my dtr day care center use spirit, disney is very popular this year and many of us have changed to spirit based on the great experiences they had, from what i see they offer great flight times
