For those that don't have children yet, or are just in an empty nest - how do you and your significant other split up house chores?
In our house - I do the inside, DH does the outside. Whenever he complains I tell him I'll shovel/rake leaves when he learns how to scrub a toilet. (The conversation usually ends there.)
I do all the inside stuff...all cleaning/dusting/etc... but DH will empty the dishwasher on occasion and take care of taking all the trash/recycables out.
Of coures - I REFUSE to clean his "workshop"...so I live with the dust down there...and I just gloss over the computer room...god forbid I move one piece of paper - I'll never hear the end of it! heheh
