you slow-danced with someone? Do you remember his/her name and the song that was playing?

Mine was in 6th grade and I danced to "Three Times A Lady" with Barry Bird. I thought he was cute and told my friend. She kept trying to get me to ask him to dance and I wouldn't, so she went up to him and said, "my friend wants to dance with you," took his hand, and pulled him over to me. I was so embarrassed.

I don't know if this is the same but it was a "Snowball" at the roller rink :scared1:

7th grade. The girl's name was Beverly. The song was "Reasons" by Earth Wind and Fire.

Mine was in 6th grade with a guy I didn't like but I didn't want to hurt his feelings by rejecting him. It was to Meatloaf's "I Would Do Anything For Love". I remember it because it felt like the longest song EVER that night (and it has that awkward fast part that we didn't really know how to dance to). I don't remember his name but I do remember he liked me all through middle school and high school until I made fun of him in front of a big group of people in high school (apparently I only wanted to be nice in middle school ;)) and he got his Mom to call my Mom. That was the end of him liking me though!

Mine was in 7th grade and it was with my cruch, Aaron. We danced to "Never had a dream come true" by S Club 7 and he stepped on my feet.

Must be some skating term I don't know about. There are only three kinds of snowballs I've heard of and...well, I'll leave it at that.

Yes, it was 6th grade and his name was Grant. He was one of the cutest boys in our grade and I was THRILLED that he wanted to dance with me. The song was Donna Summer's "Last Dance," and neither one of us had ever heard it before, so we didn't know it was a fast song. We started out slow dancing and then when the music speeded up, we both just stood there staring at each other before walking off to separate corners. :lmao:
