I don't like simulators as a rule but have heard good things about Spidernman but would like a bit of impartial feedback.

You aren't going to receive any impartial feedback here. I think we all are kind of partial to Spiderman. I had to see it on TV before I realized that there wasn't a 400 foot drop at the end. It helped me be able to keep my eyes open!

Spider-Man is an amazing ride. It's amazing because the ride is always moving on a track. The films move with the movement of your car in such a way that you don't even notice it in some scenes. Also, the combination of 3D, simulation, and various speical effects make it very good.
