Spiderman ride is Amazing!

The new and improved Spiderman is truly improved. The HD effect makes so much difference in the ride. The story is the same and most of the film footage is the same (minus the now absent body anatomy from the Statue of Liberty torch) but the clarity makes it seem like an all new ride. It is extremely smooth and the film is so well synched that the vomit effect is gone. Those that felt nauseous when they rode before most likely will not feel sick at all now. The 3D is exceptional and I don't think anyone will be disappointed with the refurbishments. Definitely worth waiting in line for even if you have ridden the Spiderman ride for years.

Really looking forward to it! The scoops remained the same everything? I was figuring the statue of liberty would get a makeover - bummer we had our lines and jokes all ready each ride through.

The cars are the same as far as I could tell. I used to like riding in the front but I rode it 4 times tonight and felt like the back was way better for the effects.

Us too - always tried to ride in the front. Will give the backseat a try. Good tip.

This will make some people sad. I know a few who loved pointing that "gag" out to newbies.

I am assuming it is the hand that is holding the torch toward the beginning of the ride.
