My grandson came out of my bedroom from watching tv and said there was a spider on my bed. I went in to find it, but it was gone. Guess where I'm not sleeping tonight!! lol

ugh! Hate spiders! I came home one day and MY grandson had found a spider on MY bed. He put a clear bowl over it, lol and saved it for his mom to get rid of.
I live in a nice apartment in the basement of my dd's home so I get quite a few spidys.

Strip the bed. Stand the mattress up on edge to check it. Spray under the bed with Raid. Sleep on the couch tonight. You should be OK!

That's the first thing I think of when I lose one. Currently have one trapped under a bowl awaiting DH's arrival.

OP, come on up north with me and I'll show you some real spiders!! I'd find a picture and post it but I know you wouldn't want to see it.

We have spiders in the house sometimes, a couple different kinds. I hate the black fuzzy ones that seem to jump.

I don't mind Granddaddy Long Legs spiders though, those I'll even pick up in my hand.

I don't have one. I believe they are wolf spiders though (I googled it). Big, ugly, brown and long, long fuzzy legs. Ick.

OP lives in Michigan too, so I doubt she meant a tarantula or anything like that when she said a "spider" was on her bed.

I kind of feel bad that I like Granddaddy Long Legs spiders and don't mind them crawling on me, but any others and I want 'em dead!

It's probably long gone by now. Who knows how long it's been in your house/room with no one seeing it before. There are probably others you've never seen either. They don't like you as much as you don't like them.

Let me share my "wolf spider" story with you. One night, heard DH using every obscenity known to man (and a few I'd never heard). He smacked a mama wolf spider carrying all her babies on her back and they went flying everywhere!!!
