i think I just scored a great NYE reissue. Spice Road table at 10:45pm on 12/31. Never eaten here. Menu looks pretty good to most of us. I think this whole place has a great viewing for fireworks. Am I correct that all the tables have a great view? I’m picturing the large outdoor patio dining area. Is there an indoor area that would NOT have a good view? If so, is there a step out patio for all diners to access. Please advise. Thank you!

I actually prefer indoor to outdoor for normal Illuminations viewing - but all the NYE fireworks at Epcot are in the sky, so you'll want to make your way outside the restaurant (even out of the covered patio) in time for those.

Ah, okay. Maybe not the best option then. Few days to decide. Still hoping for like a 10pm at Chefs

You are incorrect.
We love Spice Road Table but it's awful for fireworks viewing. Most have a very partial view. I don't think any have a 100% unobstructed view. Especially for NYE fireworks. Indoor seating is even worse than the outdoor seating too.

I love Spice Road's food, so I would just try to get their earlier.

Failing that, I'd actually shoot for a 10-10:30 reservation at Teppan Edo or Tokyo Dining ... that is premium fireworks view right after you finish eating.

France is still pretty obstructed because of the ramp to the bridge and will be crowded.

Yeah, I don’t want to be in the middle of the park at midnight. Doesn’t have to be a perfect view. Want to be somewhat close to World showcase exit. And I am definitely not lining up hours before. I plan to stop where I am about 11:20 and watch from there (wherever there might be)

But Teppan Edo would be a good Res to get, just not too late.

Maybe you mean Tokyo Dining instead of Teppan Edo; TE has no lake view windows.

No I mean Teppan Edo. For that one, that’s why I did “just not too late” I’d live that one Earlier (9:30-ish) and then walk towards World Showcase for a spot closer to France or UK world showcase exit for the countdown. I don’t want to be in the middle of the park at midnight.

Good strategy to get an easy way out and still eat8-)

Just so you know, there's no need to stake out spots for hours.
Epcot is nothing like fireworks at MK, where they are centered to the castle, so everyone wants to have a view of it, to watch the fireworks.
At Epcot they are in the sky and are done "in the round" so to speak, using the lake as the focal point. The lake is visible from an entire circular path, all of which have good views of the sky. We waited in our spot to watch for no more than 10 min. People who stake out spots for hours just have nothing better to do or just don't understand how the fireworks are done. It's completely unnecessary.
