No I haven't changed my career (thank goodness!) We were fundraising for DD Taryn's dance school show for Kids Versus Cancer in the Liverpool Empire Theatre in July. It involved packing away people's shopping in the hope that they would throw a few coins into your bucket. It was really tiring and a bit soul destroying after a while, but very interesting to see what people buy!!!!
We seemed to make quite a bit of money overall - but we don't know exactly how much until the poor dance teacher counts all the buckets of coins! I don't envy her that job at all!

Fingers crossed that you've made lots of cash:thumbsup2

Hope you made loads of money:thumbsup2 I was going to go to Asda today and all, but changed my mind, what a great cause to fundraise for, well done to you all, bet you never want to see an asda bag again:rotfl:

Hope you raised loads of cash.

I've done that for our local Dyslexia association and have to agree

.....It was really tiring and a bit soul destroying after a while, but very interesting to see what people buy!!!! .....

Apart from the people who insisted on packing their own bags as ".....you couldn't possibly pack it the way I like dear...." my arms were sore from lifting loads of heavy bags into people's shopping trolleys and my hands were very dirty afterwards  but overall it was a good fund raiser. I hope the dance school did well :thumbsup2

i never let the bag packers pack my bags....i do always donate to them tho :)

i hope you raised lots of cash :)
