Guess what guys?

I'm going to Orlando again in October!

I just got the confirmation maybe an hour ago saying I was confirmed for the Sea World/Busch Gardens fam. I'm so excited! We get to stay at the Orlando World Marriott which is a gorgeous property. http://www.marriottworldcenter.com Check it out if you're interested. Look at that pool!!

I can't believe I get to go to Orlando twice in one month again. I got to do this last September too, when I was sent to Universal less than a week before my Disney World trip.

Can we just skip September? (No offense to those of my DIS friends who are traveling in Sept. I just want it to be October already!)



On a side note, exactly 5 weeks from today I will have just landed in MCO!

I'm spending the week before our trip at the Hilton Bonnet Creek for work! Since I already have my AP paid for, I'm hoping I can sneak off some night and activate it!

I'm so excited for you, Jenny!! What dates will you be there for this? Jackson and I (plus a boatload of friends) are going to MNSSHP on the 22nd.. I'd love to finally meet you but I'm guessing our dates probably don't coincide. .

Just looking at the Marriott now and it's gorgeous!! Their pools are incredible!! Can't wait to see pictures from this resort!

That sounds like something I would do! Everyday I turn to my co-worker Alex (who is coming on the trip with me!) and I update him on the countdown.

I'll be there 10/20-10/24! So that may actually work out. The hotel is very, very close to DTD and I think they have shuttles that run to Disney so maybe I can sneak off. From looking at the intinerary they emailed us, they keep us pretty busy. We don't end the day til around 8 or 9 pm!

Have you gotten your Mickey Mail yet? I don't remember seeing an update about it but I may have missed it. Just wondering when I can expect ours...I For some reason, I have this feeling like it's coming any day now and I keep rushing to the mailbox but that may just be because I'm so excited!

Nope, haven't gotten it yet. I think it comes around the 30 day mark, maybe 4 weeks out. Getting close! I will definitely post as soon as I get it. I can't wait!

I can't believe it's September! I can officially say that I am going to Disney World next month! It's so close! This is why I like to plan trips in the fall. Summer always flies by and the trip is here before you know it.

In other news, my camera broke! I went to Dorney Park this past weekend for my nephew's 12th birthday and when I went to take out the camera to snap a few pictures, it didn't want to turn on. I thought the batteries might be dead but it'll usually turn on for an instant and say 'battery exhausted' on the screen. Well, it wasn't doing anything. So yesterday, I changed the batteries to see if that made a difference. Nope. I read online that these models (I have a Nikon Coolpix) tend to overheat so maybe that's what happened. I was afraid I wouldn't have a camera for Disney (I can't really afford to buy a new one, I need a new cell phone badly and that's a birthday present to myself in the upcoming weeks!) but then I thought of Hertz. I know you're all saying huh? But since I work in a TA we're signed up for Hertz reward points. Basically any rental we make for a client that is completed, we get 10 points. I haven't used any of my points in the 2 1/2 years I've been here so I logged in to check my balance and see if they had cameras available in the rewards catalog. They do! Nothing fancy or high tech, just a simple point and shoot, but it's a Samsung (not like a brand I've never heard of!), it's pink, and it's free! Can't really argue with that. Problem solved.

I am (im)patiently awaiting the arrival of my Mickey mail. Oh I forgot to mention that my friends Katie and Dave are going down the same week as all of us too! I booked their trip! I've known them since high school and Katie's one of my closest friends so it'll be a lot of fun hanging out with them in Disney. They're staying at Pop too. I'm SO excited!!!

I actually just spent over an hour looking at all the options I could get with my points. (um, work has been slow lol). There were a lot of different cameras. Ultimately, I got a Samsung but they didn't have a pink option for that one, so it's plain old black. It got good reviews though. This is what it looks like.

Can't complain, it was free! I should get it in about a week or two.

I'm planning on getting the LG Rumor Touch. I've never had a touch phone and I like that it has a full keyboard that slides out too. I've used the keyboard on other people's touch phones and I hate it. Maybe it's just cause I'm not used to it but I'd rather have the keyboard.

My mom had actually gotten a Samsung camera for my BF a couple eyars ago for Christmas. It wasn't bad at all and it was easy to use. Of course, I broke it (it was in my purse and you know how we just slam those things all over the place!) so I bought him a new one but got him a Canon instead (for a purely selfish reason...I wanted to have two USB cables that would work for my camera, just in case!)

I can't believe how close our trips are!!!!!! I'm really excited for YOU to get YOUR Mickey Mail because I know mine will be coming shortly after!

I'm thinking maybe that's what happened to my Nikon. But it was in a case, so who knows? I read an article saying the model I have generally overheats after a year or two and that's about how long I've had it so maybe that's what happened.

I know what you mean about a touch screen keyboard. I don't like it on my iPod Touch, so I never use it! I don't know who your provider is, but I just got a Pantech Impact and I really like it!
