Spending my birthday in Disney! Oct 2010 PTR - UPDATED 10/11 TR STARTED

We didn't get anything either. Not even any rain. It was a bit windy yesterday and today but it was absolutely gorgeous weather.

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a great Labor Day weekend. I didn't have any major plans. On Saturday, I had my nephew AJ's 12th birthday party/bbq so I went to that. Beautiful weather and I always love hanging around my nephews. The rest of the weekend, I just relaxed! I can't believe it's Tuesday and I'm back at work already.

I tracked the shipping status of the camera I ordered and it should be arriving today! I can't wait to check it out and play with all the features and take some pre-Disney test shots.

I've moved our Biergarten reservation for Epcot Day. It was for 2pm but I got to thinking I'd like it to be a little bit later so we can enjoy most of the attractions in Future World and then spend the rest of our day in World Showcase and take in the F&W Festival. So our ADR is now at 4:25.

My boss is in the process of confirming my flights for the Sea World/Busch Gardens fam. I can't wait! They sent us a rough draft of the itinerary:

10/20 - Check In and Welcome Reception
10/21 - Busch Gardens Tampa
10/22 - Sea World
10/23 - Aquatica and Discovery Cove
10/24 - Check Out & fly home

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included everyday too but they just haven't told us where yet. We also get property tours of different hotels but again, I don't know which. I'm sure they'll sent us another draft once everything is confirmed. And we get a VIP tour of all the parks!

No Mickey Mail yet. WHERE IS IT ALREADY??

Crossing my fingers for your camera to get here! We'll need pictures of something when it arrives!

Good choice on moving the ADR. Much easier to stay in one part of EPCOT rather than try to go back and forth.

Your itinerary for Busch Gardens/Sea World looks nice! It's great they pay for all your meals! I cannot wait to hear how Aquatica and Discovery Cove are. I've always wanted to go but didn't want to be disappointed.

I can't believe there's only 27 days left! So exciting!

It also came with my friend Katie's Mickey Mail. She's going 10/2. I booked her trip. No Magical Express yet though. I have issues with them. Sometimes it goes through on the reservation and other times, not at all. I have a feeling I'm going to have to make a phone call to Magical Express directly next week. Do you ever have trouble with that when you call Disney to add it?

I know! This weekend just flew!

I'll probably take a few pictures to test it out. Maybe some of the Mickey Mail. I'm going to a music festival this weekend so I'm sure I'll take some pictures there.

I wanted to do the dolphin swim at DC since it's only $100 add on to the fam but they want it by Friday. I'd rather take that and put it toward my Disney trip. Ah well! I will swim with dolphins eventually!

I can't remember what she told me the cut-off was, but if you are more than like 30 days out, you have to call CRO to add it, and if you're within 30 days of arrival you have to call DME directly. So you might get bounced to another place but other than that, it was easy. They just need you flight info.

Sometimes it doesn't go through to ME's master list from central reservations and they don't send out documents. This happened to me a few weeks ago. It used to not happen at all but I've noticed it's been happening more frequently.

That's all I can think about on your thread!! THEY NEED TO COME OUT!! The anticipation is literally killing me. Seriously. I went to the doctor today and he said if they don't come out within a month, I will probably slip into a coma and if they don't come out within two months, I will surely die. He gave me til the end of November max.

I bought a purse on ebay and it totally made me think of you because of all the DB bags you posted on your PTR....I didnt get a DB but its pretty cool. It's the juicy couture fairytale purse!! I don't think I could have gotten anything more Disney like (other than the DB bags!)

I swore I wasnt going to spend any more money buying stuff for this trip but my eyes must have rolled in the back of my head, and the next thing I knew, I had bought it lol

I'm going to miss bbq weather. And beach weather. Kris and I both have next Friday off and we're hoping it'll be warm enough to get to the beach one last time. We usually go on Sundays but since football is starting, that day is out for him.

We'll tour the parks with a bunch of TAs. I went to Universal last year and they split us up into two groups: Team Scooby and Team Bart (Simpson) They'll probably ask who wants to do the thrill rides and possibly split us up that way? We get some free time at Busch Gardens but I'm not sure about the other parks.

Not yet Kimmy! I've heard rumors that they're going to start the tour as early as March but that doesn't really make sense. NKOTB has their annual cruise mid-May so it would be kind of pointless to start a tour, stop it for that one week, and resume it. So maybe it will start after the cruise and be a summer tour? I follow them all on Twitter so as soon as they're annouced, I will text you, fb you, and then post it on the DIS.

NKOTB tends to do things at last minute. They announce tour dates and then they're like 'Oh by the way, tickets go on sale next week.' Super annoying. I'm thinking the tour dates will be announced later this year. The first time I saw them on this whole reunion thing was in Sept 2008 and I think the dates came out in May or June? I've seen them so many times, I don't even remember correctly.

Riding ToT with Joey McIntyre and Jordan Knight? Yes please. Can I sit in between them? On...everything?
Just so you know Joey is the one all the way to the left and Jordan is right smack in the middle. This is also the wallpaper on my laptop.

I thought of you last night cause I was watching the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time on VH1 and Journey was on the list so of course they interviewed Nick Carter since he loves them. Nick was my favorite..and then NSYNC came along and I forgot about BSB.

I'm going shopping again today! Not for anything for the trip but I have a coupon for makeup so...why not use it? Cover Girl! Tyra has brainwashed me.

NKOTB will always be my number 1 boy band. I was obsessed. I had posters (covering my room), the blanket (which is now my beach blanket!), sheets, pillow cases (Joey's face side up thank you), watches, bracelets, a board game, dolls, tshirts, boxer shorts. You name it, I had it. I wish I had held on to more of that stuff. I know where a few things are but I must have gotten rid of the rest.

I'm sure I'll end up buying something I don't need but want for the trip in Target. I am planning another trip there in a couple weeks for travel sized shampoo, lotion, mouthwash, etc.
