spending money

so how much money would u recommend one person take to WDW for just soveniers???? I have the dining package so i dont have to pay for all my food but was wonderin what a safe amount would be.

It really depdnds....

Myself, I don't buy much, but my DS10 does like to shop.

His budget use to be $50.00 a day, but after multiple trips, and so much stuff he barely looks at now, it's been cut to about $25.00 for every 2 days for him. I allow myself the same amount, but I normally come home with most of that.

I rarely buy gifts for others. This year, I have requests. So I will try to honor as many as I can. I will also get the pet sitter something on top of paying for her services (which is cheap anyway-since she's family and lives less than a mile from me).

yea, im thinking that ill take alot of pictures and those will make me happy but i think the only thing i really want from WDW is the Pal Mickey but i dont know.

We really do not spend that much on souvenirs. We do take a lot of pictures. Maybe one shirt per person and one new stuffed toy per child (ok per person ). We have on occasion bought something utilitarian as a souvenir also (e.g., sweatshirt on a cold evening, bathing suit as we forgot to pack one, etc.).

Of course, this last trip DM came along and threw those limits to the wind. All one of my kids needed to do was say "Grandma can I please have..." and that was the end of it. She's planning to come with us again next July, but we plan to put some limits on her ahead of time. It'll still probably be more than the prior limits, but grandmas will be grandmas. Also, the kids are getting a little older, so I'm thinking that may make a difference.
