Spelling Flame of the day: frou-frou / foo-foo

I'd want to get my personal favorite, "wallah", taken care of before I'm willing to go to the mattresses on frou-frou.

Wah-lah is infinitely worse than foo-foo. Wah-Lah makes "viola!" look like the real thing.

Edited to add: I'm also a little curious and intrigued by the "not willing to go to the mattresses" expression. I've always heard it "willing to go to the mat", but "mattresses" do add some interest to the expression.

I'm confused, if frou is in reference to a fruit drink with an umbrella in it shouldn't it be spelled frui? I personally prefer my foo, frou, fruit to be frozen!

Not that it matters, but girly drinks with umbrellas in them are frou-frou drinks. Foo-foo is a little bunny's name.

But if you are going to insist on being correct, since it's origin is french, it wouldn't have an "r" sound in there at all, not really, but more of a "w" or a muffled "r".

It's spelled frou - frou, but not really originally prounounced "froo - froo".
