I really hope you ladies have such an awesome time just being yourselves - having fun with just the big girls and letting yourselves go to giggle like little girls. I know you all more than deserve this time and this trip, and I hope it all goes just perfectly for you.

This brought a tear to my eye. People on the DIS and this PTR in particular have been so supportive and just plain awesome.... thank you!

I'm excited about the game.... small part of me is hoping I get something boring.

Oh man I so agree...I was joking around w/ Matt the other night I should pull out an old Bridesmid dress put on some crazy eyeshadow and see what Anatasia and Drizella think of that

I know I need this break w/ these ladies who have been my life source many a times...and my kids so get it and I love them for that...well maybe not my 4 yr old...she grrs at me and squishes her face up..."I want to go back to Disney right NOW!"

Naomi-Ruth and her squished face make me laugh. I'll be texting as opposed to calling due to my cell plan coverage and besides touching base with George, it will likely be Alex (my 15 year old) I'll message to see how my kiddos are doing.

Hi Ladies!

I followed over from the ticker in Tracy's TR - I've been meaning to for a while and finally have had an afternoon/evening to read your amazing PTR I am so thrilled for all of you to be able to spend this fast approaching weekend at your favourite place with other moms who "get it". I'm sure there will be loads of fun and laughter and maybe some tears (but in a good way).

My youngest brother, who is now 33, has developmental delays so having dealt with his issues when we were all at home, and watching my parents continue to deal with them I do understand how important it is for all of you to have a break and to have such a wonderful support group.

I may not have a chance to get back to your PTR as January is crazy month for me at work, so I wish you much pixie dust on your gathering and I can't wait to read all about it when you get back

MRYPPNS, how cool you get an extra day! I noticed you said you wanted to see the new Rupunzel show and I wanted to let you know that we tried to do it December and people were lining up at 1 for the 2:30 show. I talked to the CM and they said that no matter which show you choose, you'll have to wait at least an hour before to get in. You may want to Plan on seeing the very first show if you're going to try at all.

So today, in honor of 20 days until Disney, I hopped in my car, put on Four Parks One World, and headed to Manchester (which is coincidentally where I'll be heading in 20 days for the airport).

Heidi (MRYPPNS) & I had planned to a DISmeet at our closest Disney store!!

When I arrived I called Heidi… no anwer…

My phone rang a minute later… It was Heidi… She said she was at the Longhorn restaurant waiting for the police!

Sorry but I’m going to leave you hanging on that one & let her tell the story.

After a slight detour we made it to the mall and after a bathroom break, we hit the Disney store!! We did a little shopping & took a few pictures. I’ll share the shopping on my family PTR (Heidi – see the link in my signature…) but here we are celebrating 20 crazy days until Disney:

Here is my countdown picture, I had this whole idea in my head of how I was going to do it, but having a camera round my neck is hard to do when your trying to take a picture with that same camera So this is what I came out with:

Amy left you all with a cliff hanger about me yesterday......

.....well you see I thought I should go out of 2010 with a BAM! So lucky for me some lady decided to drive right into me/my car as I was turning into the mall to meet Amy. Mission accomplished! The side of the car is smashed in, but thankfully it is still drivable and the door opens and closes. I'm ok, I was sore last night but it's feeling better today.

After I called 911....I called Amy to say that I was waiting for the police to show up to write a report. She was good enough to drive over to me and hang out while I waited.

Amy I'll try to keep our next meeting a little less *exciting*

After a great time shopping with Amy and lunch I headed to Target to pick up a few Disney and trip related things. I got Epic Mickey for the Wii (hard game for an old lady like me to play), my tiara (I choose the Tianna one because I didn't dare wear a Cinderella one to 1900 PF dinner!) and a box of hair dye since as you all saw from Amy's pictures of me....my roots need to be done badly before I go to Florida!

Heidi & I had a *smashing* good time yesterday!!

I too picked up a few more trip items today... A second tiara - followed Heidi's advice & avoided a Cinderella tiara & went with Belle. I had purchased a tink tiara yesterday at the Disney store (similar to the one in the picture) but it didn't seem royal enough.

I also picked up some more iron-on transfers... I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or what, but I can't get my transfers to stick. If I iron longer than the suggested amount of time, they turn yellow! I had fun pulling off the little bits of yellow transfer that had stuck to my new shirt!

Heidi - I don't know if you want to try yours out or what but I didn't have any luck yesterday with the front or today with the back!
