Ok ladies now you have me worried...no good on a Cinderella tiara then? dang that is what I have in my bag...the one I wanted to wear (Ariel) the girls busted...the other one is belle but it has these phoofy feathers on it

I packed one the girls little BBB crowns too...oh dear they have some other non Disney tiaras too...is that better?

I wouldn't worry about the tiara... I almost went with Cinderella but I like Belle since she's a brunette! You just might get some extra attention from the step-sisters!

Ok for any of you who have followed me on any of my other solo PTR's you know how much I LOVE lists....it is an obession

So yesterday I had some undivided time to organizing several of the things I packed and get some other items organized for our trip...and most importantly updated my TO-DO list and marked several things as DONE!

here is a look:

Fri Dec 31st 20 days (3 weeks)

DONE! finalize Garden Grocer list w/ ladies (thnx Amy)

Make souvie list and update on my phone

fill out budget chart: OOP food souvenirs, tip money

make colored clothespins for towels in villa (2 per person) working on today

use Jess/Heidi's designs and make shirt w/ AM (have Matt pre print)

DONE! organize my trip essentials and what I already packed

DONE! Make Packing list

cont: packing

DONE! 20 day celebration crazy Disney picture

Thurs Jan 6th 2 weeks:

Mail Heidi ck for 1900 PF meal

DONE! purchase Disney g/c for my OOP food/souvies (covered through Christmas gifts)

finalize airport transportation w/ AM

finalize child care on Thurs/Fri of trip w/ Matt and my parents

***Mon Jan 10th 10 days till celebration-

write up schedule for home

arrange drive hm from school for Rachel on Thurs/Fri

grocery shop for home

make up "You're having a girl or boy gifts for my sil and brother for Matt to deliever for me (their gender ultrsound is while I'm away)

finish Dis tags for each lady

make sign for our villa door

Great minds think alike as it was time for me to also gather the last of my travel items, I purchased the less than royal tink tiara I think I'll make a shirt to match it.

I also got a poncho, just in case, but planning on sunny skies, some snacks, travel toiletries, and some other misc items. Should we post pictures gals?

I too did some pre-packing/organizing today. All my health and beauty aids as I like to call them! Which meant that I ended up cleaning out the bathroom closet and throwing out a lot of old stuff. And in return I needed to go to Wal-mart to buy what I was missing.

ah yes I have lots of those too I cleaned out the cbinets like that too before the kids summer camps...sometimes it's scary to see what is in there

All of you are really getting me kicked into gear! I went back and found my post with my to-list, let's see what it said:

1. find tiara (there's one somewhere in this house)still need to find
2. purchase white tee and iron on design need tee, made date w/Julie to make them
3. tweak packing list (eliminate kids stuff and add cold weather things) Done!
4. purchase AP (hoping this might be under the tree for me though) Done! DH bought it today
5. prepare at-home itinerary/schedule and meals for DH
6. finalize Garden Grocer order w/Kathy Done!
7. put together binder (travel info, touring info, etc)
8. shopping (will have to be after Christmas though)

new ones:
9. determine souvies & budget
10. determine food budget
11. get Disney GC
12. mail check to Heidi
13. finalize transport w/Julie
14. hair appt & pedi w/Julie Jan. 19

Heidi ~ so glad you're OK after your fender bender. Someone hit me on the 8th and now I have to bring my car in to be fixed before our trip, just another thing to try and schedule.

I plan to take advantage of the last day of the holiday break & get really organized tomorrow. Here was my original list:

Get a shirt & iron-ons to make my shirt with Jessica's design - DONE
Plan for my absence at home (luckily I can just update all the lists I made from when I was away this fall)
Write a packing list (I really need to give this some thought with the weather being so much different than any time we've been there before.)
Organize all of my travel docs
Pack - also checking a bag!
Pre-order Photopass CD - I'll do this the week before we go
Finalize my Garden Grocer choices for Kathy - DONE - Kathy or I just need to place the order & give final numbers to Heidi
Buy a new pair of gloves & maybe a hat - DONE, I think...

New things to add:
*Get tiara - Now I have two!
*I need to figure out my budget... I have $75 in Disney gift cards - need to figure out how much more.
*Organize my toiletries & probably bring up a suitcase.
*I'll be getting my roots fixed up on the 28th too! I think I'll pass on the pedicure this time around since my toes will most likely be hiding away & I don't know when I could possibly fit in another appointment! I'm sure I'll get one before the Feb/March trip.
*Organize my lists!

Little update on "will you tell the kids?"... Today I casually mentioned to Zach (as he whined about having to go in the girls section at Toys R Us & Walmart ) that I am going away to do some girl stuff with some friends. He didn't seem thrilled about it but he took it OK. I DID NOT tell him that it's at Disney. I'm going to try to avoid telling them exactly where I'm going & see if I can get away with it. Tim thinks it's best if they don't know it's Disney, since I was just there. But I don't want to lie to them... I'm a bad liar and it wouldn't be pretty if I got caught!

I'll check in tomorrow & let you know how I made out with my to do list!

Sorry! I'm not so good at photo embellishment and was doing this in a hurry... my "thought bubble" reads: Ahhh... just 20 more days until I see the real thing! (The Castle was a Christmas gift from Ed a few years back.)


And yes, I am so happy to get the sickies over with now!

We've just returned from Christmasing with my parents and sisters' families (we got snowed in on the 26th), so between that and being sick I've had neither time nor energy to finalize my To Do List... but now I'm more motivated!

Heidi, so so glad you weren't seriously injured in that fender bender! That kind of excitement we can do without!

I promised a check-in yesterday but got too busy...

I got a lot of things done around the house, put Christmas decorations away, mopped floors, did laundry... but I also got a bunch of Disney stuff done too!

I brought the suitcase up from the basement & put all of my Disney clothes in there (t-shirts, pjs, one of my Disney sweatshirts), park bags, sneakers, and all of my toiletries & first aide supplies. I have to wait until closer to the 20th to pack pants & long-sleeve shirts since I'm using them.

I also got some of my lists organized & can start moving documents to my phone. I use Evernote which makes it really easy!!

organized monthly bills for Jan
called in new prescriptions
tracked down dental info for Nathan (needs tooth extractions)
worked on school event I run

tidied up a bit
watched a movie

Disney-
ordered free blue ray from movie rewards (even though I don't have a blue ray )
entered in movie reward codes from movies kids got over Christmas
went on the Dis
organized some more of my trip stuff in my travel binder
emailed w/ my travel companions
preparing to finalize my food budget...

Oh and for those of you flying SWA who didn't do pre-boarding don't forget to add flight checkin on Wed (or Tues)

Wow you guys are good. I wasn't nearly as productive..... I even had the day off from work too

I got a few random errands done and laundry, but my biggest accomplishment was getting my hair colored (dark chocolate brown) and cut in a new layered style. They took off about five inches. Whew!

No trip to the mall would be complete without a stop in the Disney Store too and I picked up two new shirts for myself as well as a Tink crown. I almost got the Tink necklace and bracelet to match too. Pictures to follow tomorrow!

Oh and yes, I'll join you in a Hoopla !! and raise you a Booyah !!

Thanks for the Southwest reminder, I forgot to do that for my Christmas trip and paid the consequences with crapolla seats.

Well that day I posted about was my Sunday... today was productive too but mostly work related.

And Zach took a karate test and earned his orange belt today!!

I paid for early bird check-in for the return flight but will put an alarm in my phone for check-in on the 19th.

Sounds like we're all kicking into high gear.

My yesterday was pretty productive. Folded about 12 loads of laundry that had been washed over the past two weeks but never folded. Sorted through my travel toiletries and made a list for a CVS run. Got the suitcase from the basement and sorted through my Disney box for some things. That induced a near heart attack though. My lanyard (chock full of pins) was NOT in the bag with all the others. After some searching I finally found it buried at the bottom of the box in it's own bag. Whew - big relief!!

Today was Daniel back to school, work, drive girls to playdate then dance, dinner and homework with Daniel. Tomorrow is going to be the same so I'm hoping to get A LOT done on Wednesday with no work and all the kids back to school.

Amy~congrats to Zach on the orange belt! I have a countdown widget on my droid phone, aren't they fun!

Tracy~need pics of the new do! Sounds like a great day at the mall!
