Does Wishes immediately follow the Spectromagic parade? We're going in June and I think the parade is listed at 9pm, Wishes at 10pm. Is it possible to watch the parade from our spot for Wishes...I'm thinking one of the bridges near the central hub? If so, when should we grab that spot, OR do we have to sit somewhere else to watch the parade.

Thanks for your help...I'm trying to remember everything and am starting to get sooo confused!

You can stay in the same spot-- many people do. However, it won't immediately follow. You'll probably have a 20-30 minute wait.

If Spectro is at 9pm-- and you sit on Main St/ Castle Hub-- it should be over in your area by 9:30 ish.

Definitely hold your ground once you get a spot! We got to our place about 7:30 for a 9pm Spectro, 10pm Wishes. We sat on the hub, facing Liberty Square - a great spot because you can see the fronts of the floats with the castle in the background and then the backs of the floats (which are also great) as they make the turn to Liberty Square. About 7:45, one of us went to Peter Pan to get Fastpasses (we were able to get 9:40-10:40 passes). About 8:15 the other went to Casey's to pick up our dinner. As soon as the fireworks were over, we went to Peter Pan (by way of the restroom) and then slipped into one of the last showings of Mickey's Philharmagic. We walked out as the 2nd Spectro was heading down Main Street (through the shops on the ice cream and bakery side of the street), got our stuff out of the locker and walked up to the monorail as Arial was just starting the parade. We were able to walk up and ride in the front of the monorail without any extra waits and (almost better) didn't have to wait for a tram to take us to our car.

It made for a fabulous, relaxing Saturday evening (we hadn't seen eachother in several months, so the wait time was wonderful!!).

Hi - We just got back from our first trip to DW. We had a great spot for Spectromagic - we were just past the bridge into Liberty Square on your right. The street is more narrow there, we got to see everything so close, Peter Pan came right up to my daughter, and got an awesome picture! We thought the bridge would be a great place to watch Wishes, since we were so close anyway. It seemed like it was a little bit of wait - maybe 20 min. or so, however the trees were in the way for a lot of them. To do it over again I would probably stake out a place on Main Street - Do it early because it's the most crowded. I bet wishes is fantastic with the castle in the middle. Also, if you get towards the entrance/exit, you wouldn't have to wait as long for transportation like we did. It took forever to walk out of the park, and then to catch a ferry to the parking lot. (Someone working said the ferry would be the quicker way to get to the parking lot, since it takes 400 people or so at a time). We didn't get to our car until 11:30. We were exhausted! We had a great time though - hope your trip goes well!
