I've been reviewing disney.com and am wondering what they mean by "special nights" for the SpectroMagic Parade at MK? Are there many nights when there is no parade? Maybe someone who's been there recently can let us know.

Wow, you ask a lot of questions! I'm guessing you've only been to disney.com and are confused by their site. I admit, it is pretty vague and confusing. Maybe you should try All Ears Net DIS Reviews, and wdisneyw.co.uk. They have a lot more information than the official site usually does.

Now, to answer your question, when they say "special nights" they mean they only show Specto a few nights every week. They usually show it on weekends in the off season and more frequently in busier months like the Summer.

When we went last year in May, it was only shown once that week. I believe it was Thursday. We were lucky because we were only there Mon- Fri., and we would not have gotten to see it if it had only been on the weekend. I love it! My favorite parade!

Not shown nightly like the other parades. Catch it when you can. If there are two showings, go to the last one, it's usually not as crowded.

Meeko, I ask a lot of questions because it's been a long time since I've been to Disney and a lot has changed. I have visited all of those sites that you have suggested and obviously I have not found the answers. I just want to be prepared for my trip and I know that this is great place to come to find answers. After all, the questions that I have asked are relevant to this forum. I always make sure that I put them in the approapriate forum. I'm sorry if I'm pestering you but I thought that was why this discussion forum was here. Besides, I think my questions are ones that other people have as well. You can always skip over the threads that don't interest you, right? I don't mean to sound cranky. It's not that I don't understand disney.com. I use it all the time. I just want to get a realistic perspective is all. Sorry for the rant everyone but I just wanted to make sure everyone knew I wasn't spamming the board or anything. These are legitimate things that interest me.

Ali-
I hope you don't think I was saying you couldn't post here. I just wanted to make sure you had done a little research before you started posting either from web sites or from some of the guidebooks. Asking questions is what these boards are here for, but asking a lot of questions at once is usually not a great idea. First of all, if there are a ton of new questions at once, it gets to be too much and people lose intrest in them. Because of that, you don't get as many replies as you would if you spreed the questions out over a period of time. Don't want you to think I was discouraging you from posting, it's just that too many posts at one time, especially many questions that have been asked here many times before can get hard to wade through to find what some of us are looking for. Also, you may want to use the search feature here on the board as well. There are literally thousands and thousands of posts here which truly make this a good resource, so maybe just do a quick search before posting. :)

Meeko-I really think that this discussion is a private one and is not appropriate for this thread or this forum. I have taken the liberty of pming you. Please show the same courtesy and deal with issues like this privately so that everyone does not have to weed through such posts. Thank you.
