Spectromagic / Chef Mickeys

We really want to see the Spectromagic
Parade; however it is only going once the week we are there - 8/31. We have PS at Chef Mickeys for 6:15. Is that early enough for us to eat & secure a good viewing spot for the parade?

Groosch...that's a tuff one....how many in your party? I kinder depends on how busy the place...and how soon you get seated...getting the food won't take that long as it's a buffet...also, the more time you want/can spend with the characters could effect your timeline. I would suggest that if you know the way..it would be alot quicker to walk from the CR to the MK...Is Spectro at 8pm that night? You proably can manage this...but assuming spectro is at 8...I'd be wanting to leave the CR by 7 to allow for walking, getting thur the maingate and finding a spot to watch it from! ....hope this helps!

Looks like Spectromagic is at 8:15 that night. I think you can do both, but if you are looking to have a great experience at Chef Mickey's and get a really good viewing spot for Spectromagic, I would try to change your PS to an earlier time. You could hit some snags along the way that will delay things.

I could be wrong on this, but my family had a similar time frame to deal with and we made it!! We took the monorail from the Contempory to the MK and hopped on the MK train as soon as we got into the park. We took the train to frontier Land and waited for the parade to reach us. I believe the parade starts on Main street. If you are a little late, you can catch it at Frontier Land. There were still many seats avaiable.
