Where is there a calender of the schedule for Spectromagic and Wishes? I'm considering doing the Grandgatherings wishes cruise, but am worried if we do it we'll miss Spectromagic. I can find a calendar anywhere!

There is a page on the Disney website w/ the hours. Imho Spectro is VERY skipable. It's too long and all the floats looked the same. I was not impressed w/ this one. Wishes was fantastic as well as Fantasmic. Have fun.

This week Spectro ran Tues. & Sat.

when you get to the page with the park hours on the Disney website, click on the actual "date" and it will take you to a page with the parade/fireworks schedule for that day.

If you have not seen it, I would not skip Spectro. I have always loved this parade, it's so magical with the lights. The floats are beautiful and I love the music. If you want to look at the entire schedule at once, see this website:

This very site has a great hours page. Click on park hours and you will have everything on one page.

Spectro is not to be missed. The music is wonderful and if you have kids, they just love it. People don't line up 2 hours before just because it's mediocre.

A little off topic, but do you know if the schedule of Spectro & Wishes would possibly get changed? Or is what is posted now for October left as is throughout the month?

Thanks!

The link referred to in DebbieB's post does not reflect accurate hours. I am planning my trip next week and was using these hours as a guide until I looked on the official WDW site. The hours for Magic Kingdom were wrong. It's actually open later than this site shows. My recommendation would be to use the hours on the official site.

Skip Spectromagic?????

NEVER!!!!! It's the best!!! Makes me cry every time!!! :sad:I listen to the soundtrack in my car everyday! :rockband:

I most surely want to see Spectromagic. I've seen it before, and my mother will be with me this next trip and she loves it. I don't see how I'll be able to do the Wishes fireworks cruise and still see Spectro..... Oh well.

Thanks for the schedule links.

Oh, cooldisneymom, I just had the best idea! You said you listen to spectro every day in your car. My mom LOVES that music, and I wanted to make her a gift bag for when she arrives at WDW... what a great idea! Where can I guy the music???

I guess I'm in the minority. I just don't see what was so great about Spectro let alone cry at it. My kids didn't think it was all that great. Yeah it was neat but I doubt I'd ever go see it again. There were too many other things we liked better. I guess to each his own.

Jennifer S - I'm with you on the Spectro. Don't see what is so special about it - just a parade with lights. But Wishes is another story --- it makes me cry everytime that I go see Wishes. :cloud9: :cloud9:

I didn't see a :-) in your response so on the off chance you are serious I'd like to offer a differing opinion.

DON'T MISS SPECTROMAGIC. Its great. Nicely done and a wonderful way to wind-down a day at the MK. We try to catch this every time we go. If you have a choice, catch it on a week-day night rather than a Saturday because the crowds won't be as bad.
