I thought it was held primarily on Sat. nights but last May it was on a tues. or wed., trying to make dinner adr's but if mk closes at 7, we will go when it closes at 9:00 w/specto, am i wrong?

It depends on when you go. So far, parade hours (including Spectromagic) have only been released through September. Click the "Park Hours" link at the top of the page for specifics; you can look up the hours for the time you'll be there.

yes exactly what polarboi says!
Check the offical websites for date parades can be called off on short notice due to weather and other situations.
Spectro is something not to be missed
