Spectro and Wishes question?

On May 8th we have plans to do TL. My question is what time should we be at MK if we want to be able to get in. I know if the park gets too crowded they stop letting people in? Thanks in advance for any advice.

My family and I have done this numerous times in the past. WE have never had a problem with getting in to the park after we have left a water park. We always try to get to the park by 5:00 --usaully because we have a dinner reservation waiting on us at Liberty Tree. It is amazing how hungry the water parks make you.

I've gone around this time the past 4 years and we never had a problem getting in later in the day. We always arrive on a Saturday afternoon and head to MK that night for Spectro & fireworks. If you want a curb spot, start looking early. People start sitting on Main Street 2 hours before. By 1 hour before it is pretty full. Frontierland land fills up later.
