Specifics on Stormalong Bay refurbishment?

I received the letter that they were starting the refurbishments on Stormalong Bay at the Yacht/Beach club beginning at the end of November. I heard a rumor that parts would still be open through December, but then it would be closed in January? I'm not sure if anyone knows anything different or anything more than what I've heard? Keeping my FX that it's still open when we're there (and that the weather cooperates and stays at LEAST in the mid 70's?!?!?!?LOL!) (Dec 4-11)

It is my understanding that SAB will never be closed, entirely. They make close off sections at a time, but the entire complex should never be shut down. I think I remembering someone posting a refurbishment schedule somewhere on these boards. Try doing a search. Best of luck. We are leaving for YC CL in 12 days and I emailed Alana to be sure that SAB would be open. My boys would have passed out if it was closed.

From what I have read on these boards (and remember)....

Nov. up until Thanksgiving - Kiddie area/Sand Bar will be closed
Dec. up until Christmas - Lazy River?
Jan until Feb 25 - Slide and main pool area that the slide goes into. (when we are there! )
