Special Weekend Rates During Value Season

I'm starting to plan our upcoming trip in August and was just wondering about the weekend rates during a Value Season. (I believe we've had a Value season already in January 2009.) Whenever special rate codes were offered, did Disney include or exclude these special rates on Friday and Saturday nights during Value Season? (It appears during peak seasons, rack rates are charged on weekends.) I have an AP so I could use a public discount rate or AP rate... whichever works out better. While I know we can never predict what Disney will do, I'm just curious as to any discounts they offered for January 09. Thanks for your help!

I don't know if this helps or not, but I did receive the 40% off code, and during the value season (AUG 23-OCT 3) there is no difference in price for the weekend. All of the other dates from Jan. on only included Sunday- Thursday. This was also true when we went in September the past two years off of discounted packages. I would then guess that any disncounts in late Aug. or Sept. this year would include all nights.

Thanks...you answered my question. The number of nights we can stay depends on whether we would get discounted weekends but it sounds like they aren't offerng discounts on weekends.
