My MIL is joining us on our next venture to Disney in October. She has been a god-send this past year to us all (helping out with babysitting the boys, etc.) and I thought maybe a surprise at one our meals would be a neat treat for her. Any suggestions?? It doesn't have to be something huge, but just a nice way of surprising her!!

You could order a specialty cake and have it delivered. Or how about at Coral Reef having the diver hold a special sign for you? I know they do that for birthdays if you request.

Allyson :)

If she likes tea, you could book an Afternoon Tea at the GF and buy her a tea set from the shop at the GF that sells them. You could even arrange for a special dessert, like Cinderella's Slipper to be delivered to her during your Tea or maybe a cake. Maggie

That's hard to answer without knowing what your MIL likes. Is there something she is really into? Any particular cuisine / region etc? Like my Dad is Irish, so a trip to Raglan Road would be his thing. Mom would love to travel to Hawaii but hasn't (yet) so I'm taking her to Kona & to check out the Polynesian.

What does your MIL like? Would she rather have a special meal, (if so what kind of food does she like?) or go to a special event, (maybe a Food and Wine pairing or MNSSHP.)

Tell us more about your MIL.
