special things in the park

ok i know some of these will be repeat from other posts.

What special things are there to do in Disney land. (for free) just by asking or knowing where to look?

i don't want to spend all my time trying to get on all the best rides or see the characters. there is so much more to Disney land.

I know one thing i want to try to do is ride the Lilly bell.
I just think its neat and different.

Well, off hand, these are the ones I can think of:

Ask to pilot the Mark Twain
Ask to sit in the nose cone of the Monorail
At the end of the Jungle Cruise, ask the CM at the dock for a Jungle Cruise map.
Ask to ride the Lilly Belle (you can request at City Hall)
Find Maynard on the weekends at The First 50 Years and just enjoy him performing for you. Ask him to show you the picture of Walt's train at his house. Very interesting. . .

That's all I can think of right now.

Look for all the Hidden Mickeys...
Look for all the pressed penny machines...
Identify all the edible plants in Tomorrowland...
Find something you have never taken pictures of before - like, for example, the signs at every attraction, at every restaurant, shop or the individual bathroom signs that are themed to each land, and make a point of taking a shot of each one, everywhere you go...


I will keep thinking!
