We were hoping to get a res to C33 Halloween week, but just found out they won't be able to get us a res as they've hit their non accompany res limit.
What is something else special we can do that might come close to being that special. Last trip for a while as little sis is going in hip to neck scoliosis brace.
Halloween party is fully sold out, blue bayou is fully booked our days, no fantasmic those days, and no tours available.
We didn't want to book the halloween party or tour early since they are non refundable and were hoping to spend the funds on C33. Any thoughts on anything that comes close to being that special? Kinda kicking ourselves for putting all our eggs in one basket.

I'm so sorry to hear that your plans didn't work out. But you can still find fun and special things to do in and outside of the parks. If you're looking for a special food thing, I would recommend the chef's counter at Napa Rose. I thought the food there was better than at Club 33 (granted this was several years ago) and it was fun watching the line staff and other chef's work while we ate. My ex-DH and his son and I all opted for the option where you put yourself in the Chef's hands and they prepare you different items for each course.

I would be going there for my birthday next week, but I wanted to try the Disneyland hotel so for my birthday dinner I'm going to do Steakhouse 55. Which is another option you may want to consider.

Are they good with picky eaters? I heard C33 was very good about picky eaters so we are looking for a place that has decent option for a picky eater.

My personal favorite is Steakhouse 55. The Executive chef is the former chef of the Club.

Napa Chef's counter or SH55. SH55 is such an underrated gem of a restaurant.

Instead of doing the chef's counter, you can just sit in the regular dining room and order off the menu (which you can view online to see if it will work for the picky eater). If they are only picky about a few types of foods, you could do the chef's counter and tell the chef about their preferences. Note that reports vary about whether they ask about preferences - they didn't for me so you might have to flag them down to tell them. But if they are an overall picky eater they would probably be more comfortable picking out their own food from the menu.

What about trying for a reservation on property and seeing if they could get you a reservation or MHP tickets?

She’s about to get the brace? What about going to the GCH spa?

Carthay Circle? If she has any problem sitting you could splurge on the PTN package.

You could check out that new Disney dress shop and buy her a fun dress and then go out to dinner or just enjoy the parks all dolled up.

No matter what I’m sure you will have a great time together!

My ex's son was a very picky eater, but he told them what his aversions were and they were able to create a menu for him with no problem.

Keep checking for cancellations for BB. Also look for openings for the Afternoon Tea at S55 -- it's currently Halloween themed.
