Special something on the plane

Has anyone ever ordered something special on the plane like a cake or champagne? Its my DB first trip and he has been the best boyfriend ever since loosing my previous partner last July. I dont know how I would of got through this last few months without him. I just wanted to kick start our trip with a little thankyou. Any suggestions. Could I buy something and they deliver it to his seat?

Hi,

You can Pre order champagne to be chilled and then delivered to your seat, just call them up and tell them this is what you want to order once seated they will then come and ask you when you want it served, I.E Pre take off or in the air

We have pre-ordered a bottle of Moët on a few occasions. The CC will ask if you want it chilled/served etc. If you visit the VA Retail Therapy website you can pre-order and pay online. We also ordered the cupcakes on one occasion but there is a whole range of gifts etc too.....

I was given mine not long after taking off.
They brought out the bottle and 2 glasses of bubbly already filled, so I could keep the bottle in tact. I also got a box of chocolates

I think its better at the start of the flight, like you said its the start of a great holiday.

Aww that's a lovely idea! I think it would be nice and special on boarding as 2 hours before landing one of you may be asleep or generally a bit wiped with the journey.

We've done that in the past with the champagne, and I also took onboard a box of Thorntons chocolates to eat during a film.

I would have it at the Pre-board so you can start the trip in style once in the air you start to chill watch movies etc and I would not want to be drinking that much do close to landing, x
