Special Requests Friends Honeymoon

In late July I am giving my points to my friends... It is going to be their honeymoon.

Is there anything special that i can request for them?

They are staying the Beach Club villas.

Anything they should know?

Mention that it's a honeymoon party when you book their reservation, and ask that it be noted on the reservation. No guarantees, but that might provoke a little something in the room.

Years ago WDW used to do something on special occasions but after a while everyone started having special occasions noted on their reservations so the practice of doing something special has come pretty much to an end.

They should know they won't get anything extra for it being their honeymoon- we honeymooned at BCV in January and got no special treatment except a very warm wonderful welcome from the front desk (that was fine though- we really weren't looking for any special treatment anyway)

A couple of fellow Disers did send a bottle of champagne to our room which was a wonderful gift. We had a 5th floor view of Illuminations so we watched the fireworks and sipped champagne.

You may want to send them a bottle. Believe me, they'll appreciate it!

We honeymooned last year at WDW and booked a photographer session at MK. It was great; one of the WDW professional photographers takes you around the park for pictures and even got us a private shoot with the Disney characters. It’s hard to get pictures together when it’s just the two of you, so it was great to get so many quality pictures of us together on our honeymoon.

We stayed at the Boardwalk Villa's and the Animal Kingdom Lodge last year during our Wedding/Honeymoon stay. On our wedding day the Boardwalk Villas gave us a wonderful BWV cutting board with cheeses, crackers and fruits. It was really pretty and the cutting board is now hanging in our kitchen.
For our wedding night we stayed at AKL and they gave us a bottle of wine from Africa and the cutest little heart shaped holder with his and hers lion/lioness shaped perfume and cologne.

So while you should never expect it some times you do receive a little extra special Magic.
