Special Occasion Vote - Yachtsman Steakhouse

I originally wanted the California Grill for an "adult only" dinner one night of our trip with the 12 grown-ups in our party. Long story short, we couldn't get it, and I "settled" for the Yachtsman Steakhouse". Well, suffice to say that we'll be making that part of our plan on our future trips there - it was awesome! The food, the service, the atmosphere, were all fantastic. According to our waiter, the chef from CA Grill had recently moved to YS, as had a number of the waitstaff. We're BCV owners, too, so I might be slightly biased as to the convenience. Anyhow, wanted to pass it on - I had the Spinach Salad and the filet and am looking forward to it again someday.

We ate there for our 10th anniversary in 1999. We will be going back this May for our 15th anniversary. It was awesome then, and I am excited about going again. We are going with another couple who married exactly 1 week before us and we will both be celebrating 15 years on that trip. So glad to hear a recent positive report. Thanks!

Thanks for the review. And I agree, YSH is wonderful. We ate there last year on our 9th anniversary and will probably go back for our 10th. When I find myself raving about everything, even down to the spinach, its got to be good.

We went to The Yachtsman for our aniversary and it exceeded every expectation! The service was spectacular, (we were treated like royalty), the food was fantastic (steaks cooked to perfection and SO tender), desserts delicious, and they even presented us with a plate of fancy cookies to celebrate our aniversary and presented me with a red rose. Definitely a place I would suggest. I am looking forward to spending EVERY aniversary there!

We've been to the Yachtsman every trip since they opened, and we always love it! It's definitely a must-do, no matter what. So glad to have another Yachtsman convert.

We love the Yachtsman. We last dined there this summer and the food and service were both wonderful. It was a hefty tab but that doesn't bother me a bit when the experience is that good.

We ate there for the first time last month and we absolutely loved it. The food was delicious and John, our server, was great! They even brought out a cake to celebrate my dad's birthday. This restaurant is a great place!

YS tied for best meal our last trip in November with Flying Fish. Both were excellent all around including service. They were both fairly expensive but we felt we got what we paid for and i never mind that. Creme Brulee sampler was also great.

Funny, i'm not much of a blue cheese person but that spinach salad is something else, they had to beat me to give it back.
