My DH took me to Wendy's after church yesterday and one of the autistic kids from school was there with his family. He smiled at me and his parents said hi and his brother gave me a hung (I've subbed for him as well) About 5 minutes later this boy got out of his chair, and acted like he was going to the bathroom, then he backed up to me turned around and gave me a big hug and told me "I love you Miss Lisa"
Absolutely made my day since I wasn't feeling great and my arthritis is flaring so much I have been having a diffficult time walking. Almost didn't go.

That's sweet. Thanks for sharing.
It sounds like he knew what you needed.

It always feels good to be appreciated... sometimes those Hugs and I love you's work better than meds... I hope you are feeling better soon.

Teri,
Couldn't get an appointment with new doctor until next week. For now I am staying off the sore leg and hip and taking way too much Aleve. I will be asking for something stronger. Have Vicodan but do not want to use that as it zonks me and I still have class to go to. So no weight bearing, wheelchair and NSAIDs and lots of hot baths.
