Special Event?

This is really just me being nosy. We checked out this morning from the DLH and as we were leaving, just outside the guard shack, they were routing a ton people (I've never seen traffic like that coming into the hotel area before official checkout) into that side parking lot for "Special Event Parking". Surely that wasn't already parking for MHP, right? Anyone know what it was for?

DLH has pretty large convention meeting ballrooms and spaces...both Disney and external "Special Events" happen there and at the GHC all the time

I've seen conventions and meetings and such before during our stay (actually weddings too), but never thought about parking situations. Was just kinda a shock at how many people were stacked up waiting to either get into the special event parking, or stuck waiting to get into the hotel.

I didn't see that but I did see a lot of extra security this morning at security outside of DLH all the way through DTD which I wondered about too.

You know, totally off topic, but I am so curious how many of us have run into each other without realizing it on our trips.
