Special Edition Pal Mickey

It does not cost that much at WDW, it is under $20, can't remember exactly how much under, but it's about that price. It's pretty large , maybe about 3 inches from ear to ear. It has a string for putting around your neck, or it can be worn like a pin. It's a little lame (a bit too plastic), but my DS5 thinks it's great.

We are planning on getting the new Pal Mickey this trip but we won't be at MK until the 2nd day of the trip or DTD until later in the trip. If we purchase him elsewhere can we show our receipt and certificate for the pin when we do get to the MK Cinema and still get the pin?

I would like to have PM for the first day but my dd are excited about having "won" the pin!

From what I understand you HAVE to buy Pal Mickey from one of those two locations to get the pin. That doesn't mean a kind CM might not let you get the pin the way you suggested, but I wouldn't rely on it! Anyone tried??

Yes, you are correct I should have read the certificate more clearly. It is worded quite nicely in the bottom of the certificate "fine print" that you must purchase the PM at one of those locations not just pick up your pin.

Ok maybe a quick trip at MK prior to Epcot on day one or wait until day 2 to enjoy PM.

Bumping to see if anyone has a certificate they are not going to use? I cannot find the one I printed out. Several websites say the game goes until 10/31/2005 but I guess they ended it in September.

I just went and tried to find the game and there is nothing to be found. We are going in December and March if anyone has a certificate they won't use, I would love it. We have a Pal Mickey we bought a couple of years ago, but I think we will be getting the new one in March when we go for DS3's birthday. Thanks!

The game itself ended in September.

It was posted that the game would end in Sept. but you have until late 2006 to pick up the special Pal Mickey. I am still trying to find out if the special one is worth the extra trip I would have to make. We plan to go to Epcot on our first day and he has to be picked up at DTD or the Magic Kingdom. I may call DTD and see what exactly the special one does. If it is not worth it to me, I will gladly mail my certificate to someone.
