Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Elaine, I have several of the same ones that you have, but my collection is much smaller. They all live in my car, and I change them at least once a month, this month will get 2 changes, after today I will take off the St. Pats day one and put on the Easter one for a couple of weeks. For New Years, I use the one with the gold ears, it is the closest I can come to that.

We have not even thought about fish extender gifts yet. We will get to that later.

Ours live in our car too! We change them out frequently, and even put one on my folk's van too, but they get rather dirty and don't clean up very well :sad2: Little by little, they are thrown away, so our collection has dwindled through the years. We've noticed Disney doesn't have the variety they used to have, and are selling them in sets rather than singularly. I think I saw a gold Top Hat one for New Years once... but we never bought it.

There are so many cars in NJ with Disney toppers! We love seeing the different ones.

It was a beautiful day for it, just a little cold . . .

Have a good day, everyone! I'll head over to the parade on Fifth Avenue later today and tonight I will go hear the Chieftains at Carnegie Hall . . .

How were the Chieftains? we wanted to go but couldn't make it. The kids had some projects/presentations due in school and tests Mon and Tues, so we couldn't take our places on 5th Ave. DH wanted to march--I nixed that--I wasn't about to let him loose alone in the city on St. patrick's Day. Those days are over! DH used to play the pipes for FDNY, so this season was always on the go from parade to parade. That has calmed down since he no longer plays. --story for another day.

So, we watched on TV and I got to see a friends and family members as they went up the ave.
Hope you had a great day!

The Chieftains were awesome . . . they had a lot of interesting guest artists . . . a few Scots including a woman with a lovely voice, two very cute guys from Canada who do step dancing based on Irish step, Canadian step, and American tap (they were AMAZING -- and one of them also plays fiddle), more step dancers and a bagpiper, and for the encore they brought out about 30 bagpipers and they circled the stage -- the sound was outstanding. It was a wonderful concert.

Is this the courts band? I think it is --if so I know that guy in the middle! I saw him marching yesterday.

I'm not sure -- I'll have to go back and look at all the pictures I took to figure it out . . .

After seeing Leslie & Joe and Scott & Lynn's renovation projects...Mom and I were inspired to tackle our own renovation project.

Over the past week Mom and I transformed our spare bedroom formerly known as "the Mickey Room" into a storage room/office. We assembled 4 wardrobe units and 3 wall units and put them along the walls in the room and then put our desk back in the room. Mom and I are pleased with the results and here's a picture of our hard work....

...and while we were cleaning out the room....I found my "little" collection of 131 antenna toppers....I think I have a topper for every possible holiday....except New Years Day

Elaine - I LOVE IT! The desk is so cute with its slippers on! You did a really good job! Our daughter could not believe it when she saw your toppers! She has one on her car and someone decided they liked it so it was gone! I had one in our fish extender from the 11 day cruise so I gave it to her - now she is  Have a great Easter Barbara

Leslie, nope not a shell, just putting the sweat equity into the basement. RRRUH!!!!

The bar area will be an Adventure Club theme wher we can put our collection of ecletic stuff.

We do have a neighbor and all I have ever seen is the top of his head over the fence. LOL

Your renovations look great Scott and Lynn - you have really spurred us onward to do a few things around our home. After putting in our hardwood floors I promised myself we would NEVER do another thing to the house - guess that is not to be now that we've seen what you have done. Have a nice Easter. Barbara

Thanks, and sorry for the future projects, LOL I thought about Hard Wood Floors for the basement but not really practical.

:wave2: Guys! Its me again - butting in but I know someone here has hosted a DIS meet at Old Key West - who was it? Can't remember who but I would love to pick your brain a bit. Everyone here is so helpful so I thought why not go to the source. Anyway, can someone who has let me know?

BTW, just thought I'd post here - since the cat is out of the bag - I would like to introduce myself as WinoTracy's John and Jane Doe!

That's right - I signed up thanks in part to Dopeylover54 - :wave2: Guys! So I am on the cruise but could use some help with an idea I have - now that I am out of hiding - I can openly post on here - as if I didn't have enough threads to keep up with.

Anyway, looking forward to catching up and posting!

Just had to help Tracy celebrate her 20 days on the Magic! :woohoo:

Now to find my elastic formal dress...:scratchin

Scott & Lynn have hosted pre-cruise Dis Meets at OKW in the past.....sadly they will not be hosting one this year before the cruise...because they will be in California and not arriving in Orlando until the wee hours of the morning.

There was a reason that it was a secret and that reason is no longer cruising so Laura can come out of hiding. :goodvibes
