Good Afternoon All.
Hope the weekend is going well.
Here it is cool but mostly sunny. Not bad for the first week of March.
I know without reading the threads that there is some whining about snow.
Sigh. Ours is almost melted with no more in the near future.

I know spring is almost here.
There were about 30 robins foraging in the back yard this afternoon.
Tweet. Tweet. Tweet. Tweet. Tweet. Tweet. Tweet.
Now, I've seen the geese flyover.
Problem is some fly north, but then others seem to be flying back south.
Kinda in a southeasterly direction.:lmao:

Time to read.

Whining....me????? nope...this is me...

Bob...I'll send you some of our white stuff...we have tons to share....so far since yesterday afternoon we have received over 15 inches of the white stuff and the snow is still falling....:faint:

O.K. Lots of stuff here.
Elaine, congrats on the new laptop. "Don't leave home with out it.":lmao:
Why does it take so long to get?

I had to order the laptop off the Dell website because of the XP....and the reason for the delay is because "someone" suggested that I get the better battery....which I opted for....so that delayed the laptop a little bit.

Lucky.

You'll be glad you did.
The extra battery life comes in handy.:thumbsup2

We will be staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort the day before then home the day we come back in port.

One of my favorite places.
The first Disney property we ever stayed on.

Old Key West is THE favorite place. That's where we own.

The Caribbean Beach Resort was the first Disney Property we stayed at too!!!!!

After checking out the Weather Channel, I guess you are getting pounded.
But then I don't hear Debbie (EpcotKilterFan) whining.:goodvibes
I think they have gotten more snow.

Ummm... you should know better to use my name in vain

:rotfl: :rotfl:

I shall butt in on your thread to whine about the 16 inches of snow in my yard, which would not be so bad if we did not have 30 mph winds. I cleared the driveway, but it doesn't look like it.

We will continue to be pounded for a few more hours.

Have fun up there Elaine!

Now back to your regularly scheduled thread :)

Debbie

The cruise can not come soon enough! By the end of this storm Ottawa will have hit a new seasonal record of 400 cm of snow !! The snowbanks on our lawn are touching the second floor.I just heard the private snowplows who usually make 15000 dollars are now pulling in 6 figure numbers!! For the first time in my life the skies lit up with lighting !! THE SKY IS FALLING I MUST RUN AND TELL THE KING.... :lmao:

OK we are at the Disneyland Hotel before the cruise.

Yes people do secure any wireless network you may have, that way I won’t be visiting your house, to tell you about all the bad things people are doing.

Yes to the better battery, for sure.

Jimmy Concert replay tonight while mouse burgers cook. Insulation and drywall after a long dog walk were the event of the day for us. Then might watch the DaVinci Code.

OKW for sure is KEWL!!!

Trying to remember our first WDW property stay, Caribbean Beach for us also. LOL

Nice of Debbie to drop by.

St Paddy Day 5 K run next weekend. Hope to finish the drywall tomorrow.

I understand that you are quite a diver...We are doing this cruise and alsothe wbpcc can you recommend any decent snorkle gear? would like to get our own but know very little about any good brands. Thanks!!

So that's what is behind Magic Kingdom--Georgie's condo! :goodvibes

:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes
...as the crow flies, about 1.5 miles...
We feel very blessed!

We may only have it until we retire, but it's wonderful for us. I think we're finally feeling at home when we walk through the door.

We always joked/secretly dreamed about buying property down the Jersey shore. Knowing that would never happen, we looked in Florida... near our favorite place... thus the name of Mouse Beach. We're no where near the ocean, but we can see a small lake from our back yard... and the most beautiful Magic Kingdom fireworks!!!

I was just wondering, what is everyone's plans prior to the cruise?
Will you be staying on Disney property, near the port or going directly to the ship or something completely different?(say in your best Monty Python voice-"And now for something completely different".)
Peter- is there a list of who is doing what?

I am still deciding. As of now I have ressies at POR--hoping they announce free dining! although, I am finding that I want to stay at a DVC resort, but I won't get free dining. I am also thinking of staying near the port at the beach for a day or 2, but I am not sure about that. :confused3

We are staying at the Residence Inn prior to the cruise and the Beach Club for a couple of days post cruise.

I just spoke with a friend from years past. We're planning a reunion in April :goodvibes This is my year to get back in touch with friends from a while back!

She lives in Ohio and is in the midst of a terrible blizzard... snowing since 10:00 yesterday morning! Her husband is snowed in at church. The restaurants are all closed except for a pizza place who will deliver if the order is large enough. There was a conference being held tonight at their church. They all pitched in and ordered 30 pizzas :lmao:

She is at home sitting by the fire watching the snow swirling about!

Be careful everyone who is getting snowed in!!!:cold:

P.S. Hi there my favorite Matey Bob!!! pirate:

Now you are getiing technical on me!:surfweb: I am big into cut and paste!

Here is what I put on the list I have been keeping, it has your list linked to it as you add to your list, you can just edit that post.

Then it will always be current.

Where Are We and When List - Nezy / Noreen - See it Here

Now you are confusing Me.

Oh, I am on the laptop. (working) LOL

GM Jenn, 143, hope the brunch is coming along well.

She is making, baked French toast, and bacon for when I get home @ Noon....
Yes, I am very lucky!!!!

Peter

Good afternoon everyone.

We were up at 4:15 this morning to take Alex to meet his choir. They are off to Birmingham today for a competition in BBC choir of the year. Birmingham is 200 miles away and they had to leave this morning at 6:00am to get there on time.

When we got home we went back to bed to "finish" our sleep.:thumbsup2

As usual it's cold here but MUST take the dog out for a walk.

Have I already mentioned (I'm telling everyone) that we have decided to go to WDW for Christmas and New Year as well. Staying in OKW and Pop Century. We're determined to kill-off those annual passes;)

Catch you all later.

David

The main thing is fit i.e. making sure the mask fits, price soes not always equal fit or quality. Think about how much you will use it. Sams club had a nice body glove set for about $50 that we use for rentals for students. You mightvtry SCUBA.com they have some good sets. Set seem to be the best value.

If ya have more questions just ask.
