I am technologically challenged today and need some help....

I got a great deal on a Pirates of the Caribbean Disney Mix Stik on the weekend but I am having some difficulty getting the player to play the music from the expandable SD slot.

I had no problem loading the music onto the MP3 player itself (it was great I was in my "happy" place listening to Disney music all day today at work!!!) and all the songs play great BUT when I insert the SD card...and hit play...nothing happens. The manual says that the music will automatically play first from the SD card....I have all my Jimmy Buffett songs loaded on the SD card...but I cannot get the music to play from it....what am I doing wrong??????????????????

I have the same headboard in my Mickey room but it is white instead of black. Got it from Disney Shopping a couple years ago.

How much capacity does the SD card have?
Some players have limits on how much memory they can address.
See the manual.

Did you load the songs on the SD card while it was in your computer or in the MixStick?
This may make a difference.
I load my songs while the SD card is in the player.

Manual says SD/MMC card slot expandable up to 1 GB or 480 songs...I have tried both a 512 MB and a 1 GB - neither work.

Did you load the songs on the SD card while it was in your computer or in the MixStick?
This may make a difference.
I load my songs while the SD card is in the player.

I loaded them while the SD card was in the Mix Stik.

I know I mentioned to my brother that I would like to cut our white picket fence to look like the fences at WDW with the mickey cut out and he rolled his eyes at me and said he didn't do Disney and that included cutting out Mickey heads Maybe I could add that to the list for when Scott comes up to renovate our kitchen!!!!!!

As Tracy said, we bought it online. It is attached to a generic frame.
The mirror is also from Disney.

As you can see, we have a lot of cruise stuff there. Lots of memories.

Next up is my loft. It is kind of a catch all right now, so no pics except these.
