I wonder if all the reservations for the brunch are full! I am scheduled to make my reservations next week so I am keeping my fingers crossed. I missed Palo last year...long story.

The only ones that have been open are for concierge and Romantic Escape at Sea people. I doubt they are full.

Well, that was a big DUH on my part. Yes, Cabin 8600 for the 3 of us.

Thanks for updating!
Michael

Hey there Michael! :wave2: You got me curious today so I thought I would find the thread you were referring to so I could say hi!

Talk soon! ;)

(if you don't know who I am by the user name just think of an email you sent out early this morning!)

Well, the movie was good! It is a great girls night out flick, and although I wasn't too into the series on HBO, they did a nice recap at the beginning that got me up to speed.

My 5 week rotation of on call duty has come up this week, so I have had a pager strapped to my waist all week and have to work this weekend. Looks like I will miss most of the great weather, although I may see if we have an inmate work crew working in the mountains today so I have an excuse to get out of the office for a few hours!

Everyone have a great weekend!!!

Jill, we have had good luck with Avis. Don’t forget the AAA or AARP, well the later works for us.

Peter is my chauffeur still good to go and now can I consider it also personal protection, you being in the security line these days, hey I bet ya might be able to pick up some cheep electronics when they are done.

Busy last couple of days at work, what else is new. Oh, I might have to go to Ft Collins on a work project.

Got in a nice 3 mile plus run this morn, have some yard work to do, never ends. BBQ HS grad party tonight, should be fun.

Here's some info I found on the boards....

You can drop off Dollar at Thrifty and vise versa. They did jack us a bit on the $20 drop off fee from the port to MCO rental, but I am still going to check Budget, etc for better rates. We got an AMEX discount on this rental, and it is currently better than what Budget has....at the moment at least!

We will move to our one bedroom villa (Boardwalk view:yay: )on the 26th. Nothing was available at BWV for the extra night. We were going to waitlist for the extra night in a 1 br at BWV, but it would be like 10pts more, so we opted out. We are already borrowing and we want to save for either DLR or for a night or 2 before the podcast cruise in May.

I am ready for some more planning help Peter!! Hey, do you know if they are doing a brunch on the cruise?

OK, would you like to stay at the boardwalk, so it is just a switch from room?
Moving across the pond is not bad either!

However Bell services will transfer your luggage for you from, BCV's to Boardwalk! For you.

so If you would like to go from room to room at the BW, instead of from BC
CALL Them every morning and every night, and ask for the switch!!!
The wait list is up a 7 day mark before your trip!!!
that is the best time to CALL, in the days just before your trip!

We have Almost Always gotten rooms!!!
and we plan last minute most times, less than months in advance..
our may trip we end up planning 3 weeks out and we did get OKW, with Tracy, Scott and the rest of the gang!

Brunch is on the Sea day, as T said..

I have cruised with Jill and Tim a couple of times!
and don't want, other's to feel that i am forcing things on people!:happytv:

I am only trying to share my experience with her as to enhance her Disney vacation! what she try's is totally up to her.

Why do i say this, cause that is what came to mind when i read it.
:) :badpc:

maybe is is the 21 hours shift kicking in! :confused3

Kinda make me happy to help others.

Jenn, shares little tip and secrets with her patients all the time!
many that save money and or enhance the Disney vacation!

sometimes people just don't know!!!
Peter

..Jill we also have a Boardwalk view, studio!
Starting on the 28th ...

Hello Everyone! :wave2:

We finally got a room number:thumbsup2 We are in room number 2133. Does anyone know anything about this room? I'm a little uneasy with it being that far aft. I wonder how noisy it will be. This is our first cruise so I don't really know what to expect.

...but it's my turn to bow out. Although our cruise has been paid in full for awhile now, we are unable to keep our reservations. We are all heartsick, many tears have been shed!

We're sorry that we won't be meeting those of you new to us, or reuiniting with our cruise buddies from September 06. You'll all be in our thoughts. Have a magical time! :(

bummer...

I removed you from the roster
Jgrimes 2133 got it.

Chad,

We have an 8 year old dd that would love to have a pen pal from this cruise. She is an experienced Disney cruiser. Her 12yo sister is going to be with her best friend and would love to have someone else to hang out with. Please send me a pm as, apparently, I do not have enough posts to send you one.

Hi

Just want to say welcome, As
I do not have you on the roster,

Would you like to be added?
If so supply a little more info and i will ad you!

Darn it peter, quit forcing your overwhelming Disney knowledge on me!!! :rotfl: :lmao:

I am shocked at my lack of planning on this trip...same thing happened on our trip in Dec. I winged it, and well, that is not really how I used to do Disney. This darn kid........:lovestruc ;)

Aft is not bad. We are in 2122 and 2124 this time around, but have stayed in 2142 and thought the location was great. The only noise we ever hear is when docking and to us it is not that bad. Others may have other opinions, but I think you will like deck 2.

I wanted to post these a while back but my computer was being weird. These are from the Dream Maker Party that was at Disneyland. That's me and my boyfriend Joey!

Good morning! Can you believe it is June 1st?! It is a beautiful day here in MD and I just wanted to share my feeling of happiness with all of you wonderful people I will meet 3 months from now:) We paid off the cruise this week and we know or cabin number---7096! I've created 140 FE gifts and I have A LOT of leis to hand out for our tropical night party! You can't imagine (or maybe you can) how hard it is to resist taking out the suitcases and start packing for this adventure!

I was thinking the same thing about not believing it is June already! Merrick turns 1 on the 11th and I have no freaking clue where the time has gone!!!!! Bring on summer! I am so ready for it:)

Thanks for the reassurance! :thumbsup2

I can't believe we're almost at the 90 day mark!

WooHoo! :cool1:

What is wrong with packing early, Oh we have a Mexican DCL trip before this one, yeah!!!!

This one will be great for sure.

Peter you da man.

We were on deck 2 on our last cruise and loved it! It was easy for getting off the boat and never had a wait for an elevator going up. It was a great location so we did it again this trip!

I haven't thought about packing but I did buy bags so we can pack! Decided to go with rolling duffles; easier to store under the bed and out of the way with 4 of us in 1 cabin.

I can't believe we are staring at that 90 day mark! The rest will go sooooo fast!

Good Evening Everyone.
Hope the weekend was good for ya.
Thought I'd just check in and say "Hi" and get caught up.

Started off scary here. We had tornadoes to the north and south, but here we just had a lot of rain and wind. The last two days have been gorgeous.

The big day is coming soon..... the 90 day mark.:cool1:
Will try and book our excursion at Nassau.
We finally got our packet from DCL. Nothing we did not already know about.

We have been on deck two for all of our cruises except the Med Crossing cruise. We had a verandah for that one. Deck two has always been good to us. Mid-ship seems to work best.

Okay....although we aren't completely done decorating our "renovated" rooms...I just can't wait any longer to show you guys the results....

Here is my new DCL cruise bedroom.....note the bedspread and drapes....and no Bob I didn't steal them!!!!! I still have my cruise lithos and my Panama Canal Cruise map to go on the walls

DSCN9274.jpg

......
Nicely done Kid.
Just where did you get those drapes and bedspread? Hmmmm?
And Captain Mickey?

A lot of that room looks familiar. Here's ours...

Click on a thumb if you want to see a larger view.

Actually, we need to re-organize the room. Still have lithos to hang.

"times are rough, got too much stuff"

Sorry to hear so many folks are canceling this cruise.
Actually, we considered that also. Change to a Mexican Riviera cruise.
But in the end we decided that this one would be better.:goodvibes

What is wrong with packing early, Oh we have a Mexican DCL trip before this one, yeah!!!!

This one will be great for sure.

That's it Scott, rub it in. That cruise will be a fun one.:thumbsup2

Don't think we will pack for a while.
Probably will wait until the last minute as always.
No tux. Maybe a jacket. We will see how dressy we want to be.
Grass skirt is a "fer sure".

We are all set except for ground transportation.
We think we will do the Disney busses.

Peter, we assume that we can go from the ship to AKV and from AKV to the airport on the bus.:confused3
