Marc, Stephen, and I are probably going to be going to the Adventurer's Club on Aug 30th. Maybe we'll see some of our fellow cruisers there. We wanted to catch it -- never been before -- before it disappears (not sure if that was a nasty rumor or an upcoming truth, but we need to say "Kungaloosh" at least once!).

Ok! Just found out we are pregnant. Which is exciting news! Although, I'm going to miss the cut off day by 1 week to cruise. Has anyone experienced this before? What happens if I just don't tell them I'm pregnant? UHH! We've already bought our plane tickets and we're going with our whole family. (which everyone has already paid for their cruise too)

Maybe you could go back to the doctor and tell him he / she is wrong!
and explain your reason why he / she is wrong, and then he / she can know how to write the letter for the cruise line ???

Great idea! I saw him today and told him I just thought you couldn't be in your last trimester. He said he had no problem with me going and that he would write a letter saying I was in my 2nd trimester. Although, the medical form you have to send to DCL says you have to state how many weeks you are. So, that was the problem. Great idea! I'll ask him next month. Thanks!!!

Thanks! We are fine by us, but all around us it is bad. Lots of damage and lots of water! We got 8 inches in two days by our house. Damage to the road coming in to our cul de sac. The problems didn't go as far north as my sister so they are all ok up there.

Glad to hear that you are are dry.....on the news they showed a huge house that was beside the Wisconsin River (I think that was what it was called) falling into the river and it was a 2 story house....I don't know what I would do....

The document is pretty specific. In fact, my doc put on mine "17 weeks 6/7 days" or something that specific when we sailed in Dec 2006. However, one thing to always keep in mind is that due dates can change...perhaps your doctor may think you may be a week off, maybe a week later than he thought?!?! The cut off is 24 weeks, right? I hope it works out for you, regardless.

By the way, a HUGE congratulations!!!! You can ALWAYS take a Disney cruise, those little perfect babies don't come around everyday.....

Reading the DIS roster for this special cruise----there appear to be a number of early eaters but most seem to be in groups already---what is a group of 2 to do when we haven't "met" anyone yet? Just curious.

Oh I forgot, I think I have decided on a Nassau excursion, I will be on a quest for some conch salad and some good rice and peas. Those were my favorite when I did my student teaching there back in the 70's.

Don't worry, DW is an L&D Nurse. I think the main reason is that if something unexpected happens they have no way to deal with it. We have had this conversations ourselves. But we are not there yet.
