Special 9/1/08 Cruise Continued - Part 3

Wow, looking at the list from the Dis'ers on this cruise there are many of you we didn't get to meet. Maybe next cruise? :confused3 We booked the dummy cruise for 12/5/09 hoping to go to Alaska for our 20th Anniversary in 2011. What did anyone else book while onboard last week?

Scott & Lynn, it was fun seeing you again. Thanks for sharing the Disney Dreams show experience with us. Love that show - it always brings tears to my eyes. Let us know when you plan to set up a Wyoming/Colorado Meet.

Margaret & Elaine, I was glad that I got to see you both again and be able to introduce you to Allen. Just wished we could have had more time to chat.

Janis, I was glad to meet you and wished that we would have had more time to talk too. I still can't believe that you remember the post from a year ago when I asked you which ones were Margaret & Elaine from a group picture you posted. That picture really did help me to know who they were when DS & I met up with them at the Magic Kingdom a few days later!

Take Care All!!

We didn't book anything onboard becasue we already had our 10/24/09 cruise booked since last December. :goodvibes

From how many of those bottles did you actually pour yourself a glass??:rotfl:

I don't think he missed sampling one of them:rotfl2:

We booked 8/22/09 Western, but we will most likely switch to one in 2010.
I sure hope the next one has a fun group like this one.

Hi Everyone

Sounds like everyone had a great time even with the weather.

Have a great weekend!

I would give anything to be floating & chatting on the float barge right about now, at SB

Peter/Jenn you are so right. That is one of my best memories on this cruise. I had been looking forward to having two stops at Castaway Cay and if you would have asked me before the cruise if one stop at CC would be okay I would have said "No Way". That Tuesday the weather was so beautiful and our time at Serenity Bay was near perfect. We enjoyed our Sea Day Friday because we'd already had our perfect day that would be hard to beat at CC.

I will fondly remember the "Float Barge" as a time of pure joy and relaxation!:cool2:

Yep, we booked! This one sails on my birthday! This one sails on my birthday! I am eagerly watching the applications that Disney made to sail Glacier Bay!! How cool would Mickey and Alaska be!

Did anyone happen to get any pictures of the "Ballerina" dancers at the Goofy pool?

I was lucky (or maybe unlucky) enough to be one of the male synchronized water ballet dancers on the normal at sea day pool games.

My wife did not have the camera with her so we have no photographic proof.

Finally have an opportunity to log on. Late at work every day this week, why do they have to hold everything till we get back??:confused3 :confused3

Want to thank everyone for making this another unforgetable DIS cruise.:cheer2: :cheer2: Thanks to all those FE fairies (to those that got caught in the act, sorry, but the hallways are only so big).

For those that got caught in the delays getting off the ship, it did provide an opportunity to see the begining of the drydock activities. It was amazing to see how quickly the work was underway by around 10 am (cranes loading containers onto deck 10 both fore and aft, the stairwell railings being wrapped in bubble wrap, the glass display cases outside the stores being covered with cardboard, the crew moving rolls and rolls of new carpet, and work on the new toddler water play area next to the Mickey pool already begining). Hope to post some pictures this weekend if I can figure out how.

Hope everyone had a safe trip home, and thanks again to all. Can't wait to see you all again on the next reunion cruise.

Bob, Dale and Gordy :wave2: :wave2:

Bob, I think it was you and Dale who got me the ice for my knee at sailaway and I never really got a chance to thank you properly. Fortunately I didn't do any real damage. Thanks again, and I hope we get to sail together again!

Hi Everyone! I wish I would have gotten a chance to meet everyone. Thanks so much for the great FE gifts, it was so much fun. It was great to make some new friends and see some old ones too:goodvibes

It is difficult to believe we are back home again. It was so much fun planning the cruise and we had a great time once we were on the ship. It was lovely meeting up with the 11 day Cruisers again and I wish we'd had more time to spend with you.

Our thanks to Tracy, Bill, Jenn and Peter for a wonderful Wine and Cheese Meet in your "home away from home." It was nice to meet new people also.

We booked a cruise for 2009-10 - we will be spending New Years Eve 2009 in WDW and then going on a 4 day Cruise to the Bahamas again - this time our daughter and two granddaughters will also be with all of us.

Thank you to everyone who worked so hard on the FE gifts - and to all of you who put time and effort into making it a very nice time for all of us. We just made another memory.

Hugs, Barbara

Thanks to all for the gifts and it was great to see all the old faces again..looking forward to the next cruise!!
