Special 9/1/08 Cruise Continued - Part 3

We wanted to take the time to THANK each of you for all of the great goodies and especially Peter & family for the lanyards and all of the organization and hard work. There is no way I could ever list all of the people that took the time to put together special items an stop by our door and deliver treats.

This was a crazy 2nd cruise for us with the rockin' of the ship (especially Thursday night - didn't think we would make it through that one), but the highlight of my boys' trip was seeing if someone had left a special surprise for us on the door.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH.

If I can ever figure out how to post pictures, I will eventually.

Hope to see all of you on a future cruise....... might be a while.

I would like to thank everybody who participated in the Fish Extender exchange and especially the people who gifted us the lanyards. We had a fantastic first cruise and are plotting to book a 7 night Western Caribbean for next year just as soon as we get on the Wonder tomorrow (well as soon as the future cruise desk opens anyway).

I too would like to thank everyone - what a memorable cruise this was - with all the crazy weather it was comforting to share it with such a wonderful group of people - I hope to see everyone again on another Disney adventure. However, I wouldn't mind if Hannah chose not to show up.

This cruise was so much fun. My daughter could not wait to see the presents she got every day . She LOVED the pirate gun! Thanks everyone who participated it was a blast!

Had a great time, didn't get to meet the majority of the group, but Hazel and I had a great time. Thanks so much for all the FE gifts and for the lanyards, we were still wearing ours on the bumpy plane ride home today. TS Hanna made us late arriving in Philly and she bounced us around on the plane, just like she did on the ship yesterday. I attached a link below of the adult pool from yesterday morning. Still have more pics to add to my blog, the connection was so slow on the ship, I didn't want to waste anymore minutes trying to add pics to my blog.

This was a fabulous cruise!!! Sorry I didn't get to meet more of you but appreciated all the great fish extender gifts. It was like Christmas every day!

Andy, what flight were you on? We were moved from the 1:45 flight up to 12:15. Our descent was pretty bumpy and we had to circle for a while since only one runway was operational. But we made it home safe and sound!

Hope we can cruise together again some day!

We made it home fine, hope everyone else does as well!!!

After several years of DCL we found the Dis-boards a year or two ago. This was our first trip "joining in with the lanyard people" and we had a blast! It was great to meet many of you.

The kids had an awesome time with the FE goodies, both delivering and receiving. Thanks for all the effort put forth. They really looked forward to checking for
"magic goodies"
in the FE whenever we went back to the cabin.

Looking forward to next year, and hopefully calm seas

Hi Janis--We were on Southwest's 1:10 flight that left at 1:40 and arrived at 4:10. It's was pouring when we arrived in Philly.

We flew UsAir this time. They said they were trying to get as many people on the 12:15 flight to beat the storm. We got in about 2:45 and it was raining pretty good then too.

Safely at Wilderness Lodge, ready to ride out whatever comes next! Thank you to ALL the generous people who filled our fish extender with so many goodies! YOU know who you are. Dimples and OC were totally thrilled with their teddy bear tee shirts!

Thank you especially to Seaulater (Linda) for the VERY fun scrapbooking event AND for getting us the second day on the second sea day AND for all the fun supplies you brought.

Thank you to Peter and the Lanyard donors - They were beautifully done and I wore it proudly.

Thank you for the "little things" - to the lady that brought me a cup of ice water while I lay in the hot tile lounger - to the lady who complimented my hair when I wasn't sure I really really liked my new cut - to CathyS's daughter who gave me her seat on the bus - YOU ROCK!

Thanks to Captain Thord, who kept us safe.

For the first time in 6 Disney cruises, we had one of our magnets stolen/taken from our door. It was there when we went for the muster drill, when we came back 15 minutes later, it was gone. It was the first FE gift we had received on our cruise this past week.

Well, we are home in the midst of the storm we have been trying to avoid all week!
I had to post because as I was on my way home to NY I had a smile on my face thinking about all of the great Dis people I met and had the chance to get to know. This was my first "Dis event". Although I am sad to no longer be on the Magic I am very happy to have met you all--Thanks for a great trip-and as BoosGram(pa) aka-Ski, stated-"We were friends before we met!"

Hi to everyone - we've safely made it back to WDW for another week BUT had to wait with two other families at the port for 90 minutes for our shuttle to the Radisson to collect our car.

We were very annoyed and one family phoned the hotel 5 times to complain - apparently it was due to Disney arriving early and the Carnival arriving late. In the end we had a full refund for our stay!

Just wanted to stop by and say thanks for all the fish extender gifts. It was great fun doing the delivering and coming home to gifts at the door.

We met some new friends on board and they were jealous that they missed out on the fun.

We learned a lot from you guys and it really helped out.

Since it was our first cruise, we were overwhelmed with trying to get to do more activities. I am sorry that we didn't meet more of you!

We're at Pop now but looking forward to getting home on Thursday.

Good Morning Folks.....

Sometime between 11:10 yesterday morning and 11:30 last night, Hazel misplaced her cell phone. It could be anywhere from the Orlando Airport, as she used it to call Lina in the morning, to the plane, the Philly Airport, or even in our friends car who picked us up and brought us home. Looks like we have several phone calls to make this morning.

Speaking of cell phones. When I woke up this morning, I forgot where I was and went reaching for my cell phone on the nightstand next to the bed. Then I remembered, I wasn't on the Magic any longer........

We took the DCL bus here. Was a nice leisurely ride.
Pictures that we have seen before do not do the place justice.
Met up with Cheryl & Bob (Webray).
Hydrated at the pool bar and at Victoria Falls.
Dinner was at Jiko. Wonderful.

We leave tomorrow unfortunately.
Hope everyone has a safe trip where ever home may be.
