GOOD MORNING!
Got up early with my special coffee to watch the sunrise.:thumbsup2
Did some bonding with the hot tub. Will miss it the next week.
Giving the yard a drink right now. Should be dry here this week.

EXCITED! In just 29 hours we should be at port.:cool1:
A million things going thru my mind. Did I pack the right stuff. Forget something.
Heck. Just get on boat with a shirt, long pants and a pair of shoes.:rotfl2:
If I miss something, Lee will remind me. She is a lot more organized than me.

Better get back to wrapping things up.
A few e-mails to do. Breakfast.

See ya all real soon.

"These moments we're left with
May you always remember
These moments are shared by few

There's wind in our hair
And margaritas in our shoes
It'll be a lovely cruise

Hi Everyone,
We had a great turn out last night for the Wine and Cheese meet at OKW.
First of all thanks to Pete and Jenn hauling the lanyards and a special thanks to all who sponsored the lanyards and to Ken (Kpros) for the great design.
They are fantastic looking!!!
Thanks to all who attended the meet, I think it was enjoyed by all who were here. We sure enjoyed having everyone coming by and saying hello.
Celeste, you were missed, but we will see you on Monday.

Scott, hope you had (have) a good run today, and post a personal best!

This is going to be a cruise to remember, for us, and I hope for all of you also!!!

See you on the ship!!!!

Ken

After playing sleeping beauty, we r @ the parks. Its very steamy & hot. Wonder how they'd feel about nudist day @ the parks? Think that would go over well??? LOL.

Ken, its nice to know I was missed. I couldn't believe we all slept that long!!! No post party party?? You guys r slipping!! I'm going to have to remind you all of the days of stealing, I mean moving chairs!!!

What time are most ppl planning on hitting PC?? Tracy, get out of my room, so I can get in!!! LOL.

We r @ MGM, so say hello if you see us. Yes, I know the name changed, I just don't acknowlege it!

Blustery day here at the world, Pups already at the pet resort.... :sad1:
Have the Castle Suite tour at 5:20pm then we'll get down to the serious packing.

24 more hours and I'll be full of shrimp!!! :woohoo:

Hi everyone. Wishing everyone a MAGICAL time. I wish I were there to say hi to my old friends and to tell you my good news.............................

Bev :bride:

Hope you all have a great cruise. Will see most of you when you get back. We will be at AKL for the weekend. :cool1: :yay: :woohoo:

That is so great Tracy.:thumbsup2
The weather radar looked so terrible.
Have a great day.

A little rain storm this morning, but it did not prevent a fantastic day. Did a snorkeling excursion after the rain quite and then hit Serenity Bay - Ahhhh!!!

Celeste I'm happy to get out if it means getting in to "my" room!

By the way, word around the ship is that Hanna will hit or come close to Castaway Cay on Tuesday. IF this is true and we have a sea days on Tuesday instead, let's make the wine party then. Whatever day is a sea day unless there are multiple ones. I say the first one works out the best. What do you all say?

See you all tomorrow!!!!!!

Had a nice late lunch at Grills this afternoon after arriving at the port area.

Wish we didn't have to cancel this one but it didn't make sense to fly down in September for this one and then fly down again in October for the one DH won! Besides, that just means I get to cruise again next year! :cool1:

Have a great time and I'm sure you will enjoy yourselves no matter what the weather is like.

As of today they are asking all Americans to evacuate the bahamas and caribbean due to Hannah. HOpe this doens't affect all of you. Doors are open here if it does!

According to the discussion on wunderground.com

"Statement as of 5:00 PM EDT on August 31, 2008

an Air Force reconnaissance aircraft investigating Hanna during the
last several hours found a peak flight level wind of 48 kt which
reduces to approximately 40 kt at the surface. While there were a
few higher values from the SFMR...these were likely rain inflated.
The overall intensity forecast reasoning is essentially unchanged.
Hanna is currently experiencing strong northerly shear associated
with an upper-level low to its southeast. Global models do
forecast this upper-level low to weaken over the next day or so.
However...strong northerly flow associated with Gustav's
upper-level outflow should keep northerly shear over Hanna through
day 3. By days 4 and 5...dynamical models forecast a somewhat
improved environment as a second upper-level low or cyclonic shear
axis forms to the west of Hanna. This would put Hanna in a more
favorable environment for strengthening. However...accurately
predicting Hanna's proximity to large-scale atmospheric features at
days 4 and 5 is difficult...to say the least. Given the
uncertainty...the official forecast shows slow strengthening...but
is below the intensity model consensus.

Hanna continues to be steered by a mid-level ridge over the western
Atlantic...resulting in a motion toward the west or 280/09. Global
models indicate this ridge will weaken during the next day or so as
a large deep-layer trough amplifies southward over the western
Atlantic. Such an evolution in the large-scale pattern should cause
the steering currents to collapse resulting in a decrease in
Hanna's forward speed. In fact...some of the models show Hanna
meandering over or just northeast of the central Bahamas. By day
3...the deep-layer trough is forecast to lift northeastward
allowing the subtropical ridge to build back westward in its wake.
There remains considerable spread among the dynamical models at the
extended range. The GFS...GFDL...and the HWRF models lie along the
right side of the model envelope and show Hanna lifting quickly
northwestward around the western periphery of the ridge.
Conversely...the UKMET model shows the ridge nosing westward to the
north of Hanna...producing a track along the left...or
southwest...side of the model envelope. Since there is no clear
reason to favor one scenario over the other at this time...i've
elected to leave the forecast unchanged"

Good Evening All.
After a day of this and that and a little gambling. $$$:thumbsup2 ,
we finally ended up at the Cheeseburger in Paradise.
CIPdrink.jpg

Had Piña Coladas and Cheeseburgers. Fried Pickles for Appetizers. Key Lime pie for dessert.:thumbsup2
In for the night. Resting up for the big day tomorrow.

Yeah, still here! Nice meet last evening at OKW. Great to see old friends and meet new! Can't wait to see the REALLY OLD friends on board... :lmao:

Glad I am ready to settle for Mango soup instead of shrimp. Don't think there'll be much left when we get there.
