Special 9/1/08 Cruise Continued - Part 3

If it ever changed, it chnged a long time ago, because we have CC for Friday as long as I can remember.

Same here, I always remember it is Tues and Fri, it is usually the last night of every cruise for the "grand finale".

I was looking forward to the double dip, never been on DD before. Have always made it to CC, but had to leave early twice due to storms.

I am so hoping we do CC. Our last 2 times there, it was like a little slice of heaven. I mean, does anything match sitting on a beach with the waves lapping gently over your legs while nice young people bring you drinks??? Oh, Cabana Boy.... (or Girl) :woohoo:

Well, we can hope. :wizard:

I hope so too, CC is the best part.

The other thing is my in-laws are joining us, this is their first cruise ever! We have been raving about our Disney cruises and CC.
Let's just say, (even though we have been married almost 20 years), they have never warmed up to me. I am hoping that they still enjoy the cruise. Also, that we will have something in common and they can accept me as a person. Of course since they never been to CC or cruised I guess they don't have the same expectations.

Well, the only good thing for me is if we don't make it twice to CC this trip, I am on the Wonder Sept 21 for the DVC member cruise and we will be stopping twice that week!

Made reservations yesterday and we are staying at the Yacht Club Friday, Sat and Sun nights. The off to the ship on Monday!

Tropical Weather Update

As of Thursday, August 28, 2008

Guests sailing today, August 28th who have questions regarding their voyage and the effects of Tropical Storm Hanna should be aware that the safety of our guests and crew is always our first priority at Disney Cruise Line and we continually monitor a storm's progress through the National Weather Service.

At this time, we do not anticipate any changes in the August 28th or August 31st voyage of the Disney Wonder or the September 1st voyage of the Disney Magic.

Should weather conditions change, our Captain can alter the ship's course or itinerary for the safety and well being of our guests.

Me again....
Looks kinda iffy for the first stop at CC.
Would not be a bad thing if the Magic went to Key West.:cool1:  :thumbsup2

:bday: Happy Birthday T!!!:bday:

I'm excited to see all the new & old faces again!

I really, really need this vacation! Just to give you an idea of how out of it I am- I booked flight for the WRONG freakin day!!!! :confused3 :rotfl: :rotfl: I'm coming into town tomorrow & the boys are coming on Saturday. :confused3 Oh well!!

I am in room 7628! I had to find my papers. I got most of my packing done last night & I am flying out of Milwaukee tomorrow AM.

Hope everyone is gets there safe & nobody needs my services!!! :scared1:

Kisses!

I arrived home from work today and found that Hazel has us 90% packed, that's a big relief for me. I've been pushing myself at work this week and haven't thought much about getting my clothes together or packing either. I was going to wait until Saturday evening since I plan on going in and working Saturday. My work doesn't get done when I am on vacation, so I either have to do it ahead of time, or play catch-up when I return. I prefer to get ahead of the game when I can.

BTW Lisa, I won't be reading the meters in Greenfields until after the cruise.......;) ;) ;) I will be finishing up Sherwood on the Green tomorrow and The Grande on Saturday. I can't wait for Sunday morning to get here so Hazel and I can get on that plane and head south!!!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

We went to key west in december, and i LOVE it there!! So, i would definately be happy with once at CC and once at KW!

Pretty interesting to follow, for those whohave not made it to CC I do hope we make it in.

Made it to Denver, Zoo as KEWL!!! lots of new baby critters.

So far we have yet to recall if we have forgotten any thing.

Also Alex and Carolynn will be doig the 1/2 at DL.We are on the same red eye flight outta LAX sunday night.

Celeste, we were in 7628 last cruise, I hope they got all that stuff fixed. LOL

We leave on Sunday morning for the World (Beach Club). So, I'll be around for a bit more.

I am really hoping we do get to Castaway Cay at least once. Other than that, I do not care. Anything is fine, as long as I am on a Disney vacation!!!!!

My hubby has just added up the prices of all the excursions etc. that I had planned and is hoping to be kept at Sea for all 5 days!!!!!! Lol.

See ya real soon!:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

At least once at CC would be great - now the Key West idea is good too! One of each and I'd be a happy sailor. :dance3: I'm ready for a party!!!
