Here's a question, do the stabalizer fins retract when it is going through? I remember seeing something about them on the planning DVD or one of the travel channel specials. It does not look like there is enough room for them in the lock.

The fins do retract. They have to retract them anytime they dock as well.

Scott does not pack, I do the packing After all, he works 10-12 hours a day, and I am "retired". Most of the packing is done, but still have a bit to do, just need to fit it in between cleaning the house, staining bookcases, shopping, mowing the lawn, walking the dogs, etc.

You have two new cruisiers joining your group. I just got off the DCL website and saw a cat. 12 became available so I grabbed it for my DW and I. We will be in cabin #2021. Our DD will be staying in Tavares, FL with my mom while Hazel and I take the cruise. This is a surprise for Hazel and she won't be finding out about it until sometime tomorrow.

It is great that you will be on the cruise - the video of Hazel is great!

What a great day I had today. The doctor called with the results - just basal cell carcinoma. I start treatment when I return from the cruise. I think all of your prayers and good wishes really helped.

Leslie - we are traveling light - so just a pirate t-shirt and scarf, no formal clothes - formal night will be hawaiian shirts and slacks!!!

Scott, so when are you hosting AC night in WY? You know you have a few CO dis'ers who would head north for that Your bar looks amazing!

No running for me by docs orders, but I can do a fast walk(4.0 on treadmill is my limit). I've had 7 knee surgeries over the years and my knees can't take high impact activity anymore, that's why the docs order for no jogging or running.

I am basically a walker, with small spurts of running, however, lately my knees have hurt so much (runners knees) that I have been just walking - we have lots of friends who are just walkers and do the Disney races - check out the W.I.S.H. site - events and competitions and DisneyRunning.com - both have walking threads.
