Special 9/1/08 Cruise Continued - Part 3

I too was recently DX with breast cancer, and after hearing about Georgie and her friends battle, I thought it would be great to walk the magic the morning at sea to remember all our love ones and to continue the fight.

I am game, too! My Aunt is a survivor, my grandmother passed away in 2002 from breast cancer. Great idea!

BTW-- wanted to ask if anyone else is into the pin trading thing and bringing some to trade onboard? I just ordered a set of 12 traders for me and my dd to share, plus i think she has like 4 more to bring.. She has WAY more pins than i do, but we both enjoy it!

I am hyperventilating-can't breathe! So much to do!

DD cracked her head the other night-after many ER hrs and a dozen stitches-she should be ok. I had visions of the cruise going through my head as blood was dripping down her face-Way to have my proirites straight!

She should be fine, w/plenty of waterproof bandaids. We are leaving Wed. 8/27 and i have not even started to pack.

Lesley-Hope all goes well-keep you in my prayers.

Peter-Will there be a pre-cruise meet on Sat or Sun in WDW-don't know if I missed that post.

David-Have a safe trip.

Would also like to be a part of the Pink Walk-just need to wake up that morning!

Just thought i would post the I just can celled my reservation for Palo on Day 4 - At Sea - Thursday, September 4, 2008 at 6:30 PM if someone wants to pick it up.

NJ Update: I will make this long story short... Joe's mom fell backwards yesterday afternoon while carrying her mail and walking up her outdoor concrete steps. At 85 any kind of a fall is dangerous. She hurt her back shoulder and head and is now in the hospital. So far, all tests have come back with no broken bones. She did have a concussion. We both got 4 hours of sleep last night. Joe is on his way to the hospital right now to relieve our SIL. Mom B. will be kept through the weekend for more tests. I am pushing for the tests to be completed quickly so she can recover at home.

I vote that we take the Disney Magic instead! It's already built! The only difference is that the animals boarding will have 2 legs and will be wearing lanyards!
