Special 9/1/08 Cruise Continued - Part 3

Morning everyone !!

It's 2:15am here in the UK and I'm still awake doing my final packing and checking all the paperwork as we leave home this afternoon to fly to the States.

All the months of planning have finally come to a conclusion and I'm now in a full state of panic. My wife has threatened to hurt me if I check the passports one more time so as she has now gone to bed there'll be no harm caused if i take another quick look.

Ful scale excitement at home today as our son Alex (16) who I'm sure will get to meet EVERYONE during the five days had hs GCSE exam results and passed all eleven with grades A, B and C. This however, cost me £150 ($300) as a reward for doing exceptionally well. When he returns from our Disney holiday he starts Law.

Despite taking a half day off from work today I still ended up working for nearly eight hours just to clear the decks as I'm in America for nearly 3 weeks so I don't even know how I can stay awake at the moment.

Anyway, back to sorting papers and documents - just remembered to print the FE distribution list. My wife and daughter have packed over 100 FE gifts in our cases and they weigh a ton!! Let's hope Virgin Atlantic don't check our cases too carefully as we may end up paying for excess baggage.

Hopefully catch you all later.

Thanks, the flight is just over nine hours - we nearly get to watch three whole films / movies.

We'll be bringing some pins to trade - anything to add a little more weight to the cases.

great, I have you listed for Deck 8, I posted the information for the pink walk.

If you PM me with the details on the pink walk and the staterooms on each floor that have a board outside their stateroom, I will add it to the little disboard mini navigator I am putting together that everyone will get a copy of when they get to the ship. If I don't see you in the terminal it will be in your fish mail.

We are on deck 7, and I have a little magnetic whiteboard that I thought about taking and then decided not, but I can take it and be your person for Deck 7 if no one else has volunteered.

I called disney today to see when I will be assigned a cabin, I was told that I would know when I get to the ship I later talked to a Dreams unlimted TA, she is going to follow up. They told her the same thing, so I guess we'll wait and see.

So we pick up a car at LB3 location, Across the street from DTD, 4pm night before the cruise and we return it to the Cape Canaveral location, take there shuttle to the ship.. bout 40 bucks had 68 rate
