Good Evening All. Hope everyone had a great weekend.
Nice weekend here. A bit rainy yesterday morn, but then things turned for the better. Next weekend should be great. Back to normal temps and no rain.
Picnic and a cookout.

Celeste.....you can still do the pole dance on the 5 night cruise. It could be on deck 9, at the adult pool. Would be a great warm up for the Buffett tribute night.

Peter, good luck on the new job. Just don't be doing too many hours in a week. Don't want to see wrinkles in that pretty face.

Scott, hang in there on the training. We will be rooting for you and Lynn here. I had the best intentions the last month, but it has been so dog gone hot. Just can't get out. Then the heat just kinda saps your energy too.
Oh just as well. I need to be in one piece for our trip in October.

Funny story ok i think so..


Earlier in the year, May, we went on the first med cruise..
The Girl who watched our home and 2 dogs received 5 nights at Disney for her services and as a Grad from college Gift..

Today at about Noon i received a Text Message that read Oh My God !!!
As she enter the Wilderness Lodge, For her first trip ever to Disney!
with her BF to Boot.!!!

Can only imagine response as she enters a Dvc Villa!!

Kinda gets ya right there!!!!

I promptly text her back and said You have to go back in January, for the Marathon.. She has also earned a stay at the BWV's..

Hey, is anyone still going down for the 13K at WDW in October? We are supposed to go, but with my foot- I haven't been training. I could probably pull it together enough to walk it- but I am considering not going at all. Except my little sis will kill me for not coming and seeing their new house.

When is the 13K? I am going with one DS October 4-15. We just received our DME Tags yesterday so we're really getting excited! We're staying at BWV for the first 4 nights, then a week at AKV. It'll be the first time that we've stayed at either of those two resorts and our first time to see the Hoop-De-Doo-Revue.

If any of you will be at WDW between Oct. 4-15, I'd love to meet you! Anyone going during that time?

Lynn will be walking/trotting and I will be running.

Is the registration full???? Just checked the 6.5 K is full and the 13K is 80% full or 20% empty depending on your personality LOL

Hot Hot Hot here in central Florida.

Our new grandaughter has arrived. Cyan Michelle, 6 pounds 8 ounces and 19 inches long. Lots of dark black hair and big dark blue eyes. Mommy and baby are doing great.

I am having a good time with her big sisters, but they are wearing me out, lol, I am exhausted.

Lynn and Scott..keep up the great job training...can't wait to see you both.

Bob..you better not hurt yourself before October..you could be in real trouble for the honeymoon. You can marathon after the big event. See you guys soon, can't wait.

Celeste, we will be coming down... quick trip for the MNSSHP on the 26th, then the TOT Marathon on the 27th. We're only doing the 4 miles. My back just can't take longer right now. Then we're flying out early on Sunday the 28th.

Maybe you could just do the half of the half!

It'll be the first time that we've stayed at either of those two resorts and our first time to see the Hoop-De-Doo-Revue.

If any of you will be at WDW between Oct. 4-15, I'd love to meet you! Anyone going during that time?

Wow Sharon! The 4th to the 15th! We've never stayed more than 5-6 nights. You'll love the convenience of the Boardwalk location. That's our home resort, so I'm partial I didn't know the Animal Kingdom Villas were open yet! That's a great resort too. We so enjoy JIKO, and the buffet at Boma. When you walk into the lobby, be prepared for a big WOW!!!

We'll be down to WDW from the 5th to the 7th (not long, I know) for a mini reunion. Even if we could meet for a quick hello, that would be great. Then I could put a face to a name! Let's keep in touch.

My Mom and I will be at WDW from September 29 - October 12.....we are coming down for our 2nd annual reunion with our DCL Panama Canal 2005 tablemates and neighbouring tablemates....right Georgie (bonzie1)!!!!!!

We're staying at POP Century

Maybe we can plan something when Georgie and Joe are at WDW....
