Special 5 night Bahamas 9/1/08 Are you going?

Wow Sharon! The 4th to the 15th! We've never stayed more than 5-6 nights. You'll love the convenience of the Boardwalk location. That's our home resort, so I'm partial I didn't know the Animal Kingdom Villas were open yet! That's a great resort too. We so enjoy JIKO, and the buffet at Boma. When you walk into the lobby, be prepared for a big WOW!!!

We'll be down to WDW from the 5th to the 7th (not long, I know) for a mini reunion. Even if we could meet for a quick hello, that would be great. Then I could put a face to a name! Let's keep in touch.

We have the dining plan so we're going to Boma twice and Jiko once the week we're at AKV. We'll be at BWV the days you are going to be at WDW. We're planning on Epcot on Oct 5 and Disney Studios (MGM) on Oct 6. Oct 7 is going to be a lazy day. Will you be staying at BWV during those days too?
It would be great if we could do a quick hello.

My Mom and I will be at WDW from September 29 - October 12.....we are coming down for our 2nd annual reunion with our DCL Panama Canal 2005 tablemates and neighbouring tablemates....right Georgie (bonzie1)!!!!!!

We're staying at POP Century

Maybe we can plan something when Georgie and Joe are at WDW....

I know what you mean about getting excited....in 31 days I'll be to WDW!!!!!!!!!!!

AKL / villas is the best place to just hang and not go anywhere. Hubby and I love that, and we can eat in the restaurants everyday..lol. Always wonderful there.

AKL ROCKS!!!!!!!, spot on and is a great reminder of our time in Tanzania, except for a few different odors LOL and being a bit more posh, it is a great place, Aren’t they doing a DVC thing there… LOL


Long week and I even took today off 16 hours Wednesday and 17 hours yesterday, and there is no end in sight. I need a vacation. Oh well 2 years 10 months. LO


In Denver right now waiting for our flights to SLC then SNA and then DL….. Yeah…. Dreading the crowds at DL. So I am setting my what we can do expectations low. Will be great to see some fellow cruisers.

My DS turned 16 yesterday. We surprised him with a truck (that we have had hidden since May 4th). We wrapped the license plate in a package and had him search the parking lot to find the vehicle with the matching plate. He was SO surprised and am glad we have it all on video.

Wanted to pop in and let everyone know we leave for WDW and the 9/8 cruise at 7 AM in the morning. That means I'm getting up at 3 AM to get ready and get to the airport for the flight.

Hopefully when I return I will have more time to spend with you all on this thread. The current plan is to book my sisters (2 of them) and their children DD9, DD9, & DD15 on this cruise while we are on board. I will be sure to post if that is what occurs. See everyone soon, Lois

One year from today (366 days-leap year) we'll all be boarding the Disney Magic.

This was going to be a surprise for DH but due to circumstances I did have to let him in on it already. He's looking forward to it because we'll be doing it without our boys. I told him about the "Jammie Breakfast" and he said no way. I guess we will having breakfast on our verandah and not joining you all that morning. Will they have Palo Brunch on this cruise since it's less than 7 days?
