Wow.. i feel very out of the loop on this thread now, LOL.. but i just wanted to pop over and say hi to everyone!

Don't feel lonely, I feel the same way. I have been super busy at work and haven't been very active here. But, I do have an "in" since I know MickeyJoshNut from my very first cruise!;)

Thanks guys!! LOL

Thinking of Nassau excursions - I know i have plenty of time.. but never hurts to plan ahead!! Has anyone done the aquarium tour at Atlantis? Tell ya the truth, i wasn't really wanting to even get off the boat in Nassau since we will only have one sea day.. but i think if i don't, i might regret it. So, I will be traveling with my then 7 yr old dd -- would she enjoy the aquarium tour? I only want to do something thru DCL - i don't feel comfortable booking something on my own..
I really don't want to do a "beach day" or the dolphin swim (too $$), but this looked like an interesting alternative.

I hated the Atlantis excursion. Would've probably loved it if I had just gone on my own. We walked more that day than I really cared to, and my 73 year old parents were totally worn out. There were probably 30-35 people in our excursion when we first got there, and we walked so much that it was down to about 10 when it was over. I'd say at least 1.5-2 miles of walking in that one. If you want to go there, just take a taxi. Alot more convenient.

I agree. We did it on our own a few weeks ago and it was much more relaxing than being with a group. The taxi ride is $4 per person each way and the tour was $36 per adult and $22 per child. They have guided tours which you can take, and I don't think they cost extra. We tagged along with a guided group for about 15 - 20 minutes and the guide was knowledgable and entertaining. The resort is huge and if you walk around a lot I can easily see it being almost 2 miles.
